Thanks. I already have a pair of 17's in the same size and offsets. I am going to see if I can get that lip repaired (long shot) or buy new lips. Either way they match the Tommy Kaira/ 90's Aero I bought last year.

I was quite upset/jealous when waxball88 posted about his friend's ikeya flca a few pages back. Then I went on YAJ and searched for "s14" and it was the first thing to pop up. I am a bit worried about the balljoints and rod ends and am thinking about following DEF's DIY http://www.nissanroadracing.com/showthread.php?t=1407 and fixing up a bit. But I am gonna wait til they arrive before decided on that.

Thats a cool write up, if your going to be in there making your own shank anyways it might not be a bad idea to do that as well! I might as well contribute to the thread. Here are a few of the more interesting items i have gotten off yaj in the past HKS watch (love this thing) Garage clear knuckle processing for more angle. S14 knuckles, will be going on my S13 one day once i get flcas TOMEI 280km/h S13 cluster TOMEI S13 strut brace Trust pulley set for BCNR33/BNR34 HKS/Custom RB26 intercooler piping/M's intakes. Was originally from a RB26 swapped C35 but fit up basically perfect in my S13 I'll have to get some pictures of some other items to post up! |

Even with rebuilding em using new hardware it's still way cheaper than anything else on YAJ or buying godspeeds, plus I get to use longer 4.5 inch rod ends

This cool, I have one too actually. Bought it awhile ago, BNIB. Sadly the leather starting flaking the first time I wore. It's gotta be pretty old. Did yours come with the box and instructions?
I got mine re-banded: (Lazy iPhone picture). Unfortunatly no box/instructions. Same deal though with the strap on mine. Looked brand new but just cracked/fell apart. Just got another black leather strap on mine.
That sign is super cool. That price though.. |

generally they do. reclineable seats are usually a lot cheaper than buckets because they can fold up when shipping. also never seen a seat shipped like that so idk.

Yeah, I agree. It's not usually that cheap, as I've had a few seats shipped for me from Japan. I've never had one shipped like that to me, and I'm surprised that they excepted it at the post office.

Seeing that the seat is wrapped in plastic, he probably had all his stuff shipped through sea freight (cheap prices, long wait). An importer near me has all of his seats wrapped in plastic before he ships them through containers since they're out on the ocean for a few weeks. To keep moisture out.

figured I would share these over here too:
I have owned several sets of coils before, always new. When adjusting them after "new" they have all showed signs of wear and filled with sand. Not just on my cars, but on everyone else's car I have helped..... These arrived looking NEW, not a drop of dirt on them. Idk what they to make them this clean and fresh, but other than a single scuff on the one controller I would have assumed they were new. regardless of how clean they were, I still let them have a good PB blast soaking, and after a couple hours of letting it just soak and work its way in, I wiped them clean. Can not wait to get these installed. mail man came at aboutt 2:00pm today, "O thank goodness you are home, this box isn't as bad as the last one".... LOL. Thanked him for all his help, and will be giving him a gift soon enough, have to figure out what to get him. W/o the help of this 60 year old little man I would be still waiting. He had another "lighter" package with him.... Thanks to Kunio at GTR garage for taking care of them for me now if my freaking car could swim faster....

I would think shipping on those would be pretty reasonable as they aren't overly bulky. Probably on the $30-50 range if I had to guess. Still going to cost more than ebay specials in most cases, but a far superior product if you can spot a deal.

I know there's not too many S15 owners on here, but I just had to post this...
This is the damn holy grail!!! Piecing a full Spec R package in this condition, is rather challenging... |

Black Maxis has been up for months. Even being in good condition, 60k yen is pretty steep. That's actually how much I bought my mint kevlar zeros for, so I'd never pay anywhere close to that knowing what stuff really goes for in open auction.
It took awhile but I can pretty easily distinguish zeros from maxis now. I don't believe anybody has ever posted decent-resolution pictures of either one for reference. From Brides website circa 2002: Maxis Zeros But on topic, I haven't bought anything off YAJ in a few months but came across 3 things I just couldn't pass up. Managed to rack up $1,000 pretty easily. Been wanting a VeilSide steering wheel forever, but the only ones that come up are in pretty poor condition as they were made in the mid/late 90's. Saw a BNIB one go for $450 a couple months ago. Wasn't quite worth that much to me. Then I saw 3 come up at once, all same seller. Black / Red / Blue. All mint condition. Seller only deals with steering wheels, and professionally restores them with high quality leather. So, after a small bidding war I was able to snag this: 29,500 yen. Might as well be brand new. |
