Do all Body kits fit on every model? Do the year of the car matter at all?

well '89-'94 and '95-'98 were completely different body styles...so those would definitely be different.  There are 'sub'-styles under each one, but I don't think the differences are enough for a body kit to be different.  The front bumpers of the '95-'96 and the '97-'98 may be different, but I can't say for sure.  Whoever you intend to purchase the kit from should be able to tell you if it will fit or not.

front bumpers on a 95-96 are not interchangeable with the 97-98 without mods.

I also think the front bumpers of '89-'90 and '91-'94 are a bit different. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows?

S13grl: yeah they r different in stock form but i heard the bolts are the same places... the body kit front bumper would fit for a 89-94 however if u get a front lip, then it would not be interchangable

Yeah, because I have an 89' 240 and I've seen better body kits for the 1990 and up models and they look great...They don't have any good looking kits for my year...That is why I want to get a kit that goes for the same model but different year.

groundzero,

All you need is the bumper reinforcement from a 91-94' 240SX, I did it on my '89, to either fit the 91-94 front bumper or a body kit not made for your year... I got it for $25 at a junkyard, and like drifterx said, the bolts are in the same place.
