Those are the nismo optional GTI-R buckets I'm sure they came in other cars but only seen them in them but for 200k and the other for 170k without shipping. Idk if I can swallow that knowing you can get a bad ass Kevlar seat for way less

Does anyone know if Jesse can ship something from upgrage? Looking at seats and they got some hit/misses instead of yaj.

Whats the going on shipping a seat? I remember I bidded on a few and two years ago with jesse and I "think" it was somewhere between 80-130.

Also does this look genuine? The sticker concerns me, isnt it supposed to have more info on it and a stamp in the corner?

Jesse can buy stuff from UpGarage although I've never done it. I assume its the same process as YAJ. I got a quote from Jesse fairly recently for a Thrash bucket for 14,500 yen via EMS. Reclining seats will be more since they're heavier.

So I was pretty far off on my pricing. Basically 150-250 to ship a seat then. My only issue is making sure I dont blow a lot on getting a rep set, so its either spend and maybe clean up a reclinable bride or just saying screw it and getting a newer seat in the range of 300-400 from sparco, braum, recaro.

Anyone have good results restoring a seat? Nothing crazy but just a little sag on the side bolsters and general dirt like this. I can always sew a rip in a seat and cover is with some type of iron on fabric patch so it looks some what clean.

take it to an interior/upholstery shop, the foam can be rebuilt easily and usually they can patch and redye the cloth.

If that is a Recaro SR3 or SR4 you can buy new foam bolsters, as well as new recaro fabric. The SR3 was a hugely popular seat in both Japanese and European markets. I've found replacement parts on YAJ as well as some euro car website, although I can't remember the name.

To do it on the cheap just sew it up or get a patch. Steam cleaning I've heard does wonders for seats.
