Is the N1 dual or the single better? I like the look of the dual but I want performance to be my first concern. Also what is the difference in HP gain between the 5-Zigen and the Apexi N1 series? I know that the Apexi has like 3.5 inch
piping, is that for N/A or is that the turbo version? I know that some amount of back-pressure is a good thing and that is why the 2.5 inch 5-Zigen system seems better. But you guys would know better than I would and that is why I am asking. Thanks for any help or advice you guys can give.

ok... im not an expert, but it depends on if your car is turbo or not.  i dont know what all youve done to it, but if you have a turbo on your car, then you want it to be a free flowing as possible (very little if any back pressure is needed at all).  If its not a turbo, then some backpressure is needed.  a 3.5 exhaust might not give you quite enough. id go with the 2.5, however the 3.5 would still sound and look better. sorry im not such a big help

My car is N/A and I do not plan to even think about a turbo for at least a year because the way I drive I would end up in a casket or a jail cell. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> Thanks

If you ever plan to go turbo, get the N1 series or the turbo Fireball. &nbsp;3-3.3&quot; isn't really big enough to kill the low end on the torquey KA, but it is sufficient to handle the exhaust of a turbo engine and will give really good high end on the N/A KA until you get the turbo. &nbsp; If you plan to stay N/A, get 2.5-2.75&quot; piping...it will give you more power gain throrughout the power band.

if you are going turbo in a year i would suggest to get an n/a setup then when you get the turbo just go to a muffler shop and have bigger piping put on. that is what i am planning to do. while i am n/a i want all the help on hp i can get.

Backpressure making torque is a myth. For the maximum amount of power, get a custom tuned header and dumps the exhaust gas out the side of the car right after the collector. But since I’m assuming you drive this on the street you are going to have to be legal. Street exhausts will all allow about the same amount of power. Running a giant Apexi GT with 3.75” piping on an N/A car wouldn’t make too much sense, but I doubt you will see a giant spike in power loss as claimed by many people. 2-2.5 is the ideal size for the big 2.4 liter in the 240sx. BTW I believe the dual is N/A.:)

on a turbocar free flowing exhaust is the name of the game...however yeah from what i understand backpressure is reasonably important on something like a 4 cyl N/A.

my main consideration in exhaust on an N/A car is noise...if you get either of those exhausts, make sure you get the silencer with it. you'll probably have to pay an extra $40 for a'pexi, i think 5zigen pretty much always comes with it

This is the same question that comes up every few weeks. I too didn't know what to get but I went out and talked to the Head of Enjuku Racing and he has an S13 and has Dual N1 and while his can was KA N/A he loved it and told me that if I got the singel I would feel a little bit of loss in power and that the Dual gives a little bit more Mid range but both Apexi's give great high end power and the 3&quot; piping is fine and even better once you do go for a Turbo! So I am getting the Dual N1 right after X-Mas. SO THATS MY STORY! BTW www.enjukuracing.com has some great deals now and then so check them out.

I guess I am just going to go with the N1 dual. Is the sound really that loud? I mean I would have to buy two silencers and if I don't have to spend an extra $80 I don't wanna. Can anyone give me the company site for the 5-Zigen? Thanks
