RB25 or Rb26 ?
I'm sure this has gone over before but not in the specifics I would like to hear of.
So, I know first off everyone is probably thinking, " you're an idiot. RB25>26 price yada yada " Well, this is something that I want to spend plenty of money on and have done right the first time as well as having power looks and the WOW factor so yay. Anyways, on to my question. First off, I want something at high boost to put down around 600hp, relatively quick spool reliability and low boost around 450-500. Would the Series II RB25 be a better choice to achieve this? Twin scrolled RB26? Also, I don't want to run a crazy high boost and stretch the limits of the engine to get to my desired power levels. Again, being of high power, this wont be as reliable as your NA honda (lol?) but I want it as reliable as possible. I know the RB26 would be a great candidate but don't want to get it if no need be even considering the wow factor. I don't mind a built RB25 :} So what do you guys think?

Is this the only descrepancy other than displacement? I know there's gotta be more.
I just want the pros and cons of each considering my goals.

Just do a full build on the RB25 and you should be golden
I met a guy with an Orange Datsun with an RB25 in AL. He said he was puttin down 500+ W/NOS on a stock headgasket and internals.

haha buy yours?
I still have much research to do. I don't jump into things too quickly. Shit seems to go wrong too often when I do that.
