Does anyone know where the pictures went in the S14 5 speed swap sticky in the FAQ section? I got everything through the auto removal and now I'm onto manual install. I come back from college to find out the pictures are no longer there. Difficult to do without seeing it, personally.. Would appreciate it if someone had saved it all..

actually, the person holding the crank pulley bolt will essentially be 'loosening' since the bolts are facing each other.... hrmmm
i found that the chain method works wonders... i used this method for removal and re-installation..
now i'm rollin again

okay, i did some searching and found out that on courtesy nissan that the 95-98 240sx AC Compressor has the same part numbers as the 95-99 maxima's..their both 27630?? So does this means the maxima will bolt into the s14?

SR20DET T25 compressor inlet and outlet, what are the bolt size and pitch. It's 2 nuts and 2 bolts.

That part and the inlet to the left of it, thanks!

im making my lower harness for my RB20 and im using a KADE lower harness.
seems like all the plug works for RB20

now i read a write up on how to convert RB20 harness to S13

it only says that i only need the oil pressure sending unit.
it said that the yellow wire is all i need(unless i run an oil gauge)
but where do i wire up the yellow wire on the lower KADE harness?

can someone post a pic of their converted lower KADE harness for their RB20.

also can you tell me where these plugs go.

theres a 3 pin plug on along with the maf plug. where does the 3 pin plug go? (no pic yet)

i know one of the plugs goes to a/c but i dont have a/c so i dont know which 1 it is.

Second picture. #2 and #3 should plug into the front harness. The plug-ins should come through under your headlight next to the battery tray.
Pretty sure #1 is for a JDM chassis/electrical system.

So I searched and found quite a few topics about speedometers not working but none of them were similar to my problem soo..

The speedo in my 90 coupe is burried and just stays like that, sometimes it goes backwards...? What's up with that? I'm not swapped or anything, just a sohc.

Any help would be awesome.

Ok, so this might be a repeating & random question, so I do apologize in advance if it is so.

I was wondering if it is still possible to obtain/purchase GP Sport's Type R full body kit for a 180SX?

Cheers!

Pretty sure #1 is for a JDM chassis/electrical system.

so can i just ignore these plugs and use the lower KA harness?
for the oil pressure sending unit, can i hot wire it on the lower KA harness or i have to run a wire all the way to the cluster?

Hey man, I'm not too sure if you can use the clutch lines straight out of the S14 manual clutch. Most of the projects I've read has mentioned that they upgraded their clutch to something that is of a heavier duty, like one found in Skyline, or Z32. Some also upgrade the clutch line to a SS line.

In any case, I'm no expert, and I am merely giving you information based on what I have been reading & researching on a RB20 swap - I also want to do an RB20 swap, but for an S13.

Anyways, I hope that helped a bit.

Cheers!

anybody know the size of bolts that hold seats down in s13? thanks
not m8 or m10 . not 7/16 but close.

diameter measure 9.84 mm

pitch seem to be 1.25 about 29mm long

home depot at least does not have it.

ok, its m10. this stupid thread needs to be deleted.

I'm trying to identify the deathly sound coming from my rear coil overs. It doesn't sound like coil bind, its more of a low pitch creeking sound. It only happens to my rears while I'm turning, even at low speeds and over bumps. My coils are stance gr+ pro ssd's and I have an s14. Ive had a few off road excursions so could it be dirt somewhere? I apologize ahead of time if this isn't the correct place to post this.

id say, if not dirt (i dont know if they would make noises with dirt though) or you have bad camber and your tire is hitting the wheel if you have hicas... im probably wrong though so don't trust me too much lol

How many miles are on them? Could be dirt, but I have Stance gr+ and I'm getting the same noise. I think that it might be a loose top nut. I just recently started to hear it on the fronts as well during low speed turns and bumps. I'm just trying to find a way to tighten the top nut without damaging the coilover. Anybody have any insight on how to tighten the top nut while holding the piston?

serious ques guys really in need of help, was driving on the highway doing about 80 the road was bad so the car was bouncing alot, i heard a noise like some preasure being release from somewhere, then the car started to loose power and run wierd as if it was misfiring, so much so that i had to slow down and pull over. i put it in nuetral and let it idle and it was fluctuating between 1.5 and 2.5 rpms, then it just shut off. i turned it on and reved and it reved like it was missing and there was alot of black smoke coming from the exhaust. i also noticed that the boost gauge went below zero when i was reving and would not biuld up at all, and it wasnt spooling because it didnt blow off no matter howmuch i reved, idk if it has something to do with the vacuum line. can anyone help out of ideas, its an sr20det in a 89 hatch

Answered my own question by searching on Stance's website... the top locking nut on an inverted coilover, it's ok to hit it with an impact on low setting.
