I think he might be talking about the WedSport TC105N's, but the spokes on the xxr's extend to the outer rim

it seems the wheel industry is a lot like selling drugs. you start off selling ludes and weed with hopes to one day work yourself up to boss-status selling cocaine and heroin

imagine building a (race)car with these cheapass parts.. you're constantly having to patch fix your ride, bent wheel, blown suspension, leaking exhaust or cracked manifold... endless cheap shit to work on

if the bride in kill bill bought a knockoff sword instead of the hattori hanzo sword, she'd get fuckin owned by the crazy88..

Some of you take wheels way to personal. The only thing I dont like about knockoff wheels is if someone sees you rolling on them, they assume all your parts are knockoffs. Yea its whack they steal the idea of other wheel companies but even the big wigs knock each others wheel style.

When someone sees your rolling on whatever... they have no idea what the fuck the wheels are unless there is a sticker on them.

When you then say you dropped 2k on your Volk wheels they go "why the fuck would you waste 2k on Volkswagen wheels?!"

If weight is no concern, and you like the style of these wheels, then get them. Expensive wheels will dent, ding and crack just like the rest... street driving can be hell.

I don't see all the obsession about "light" and "legit" wheels. I would only buy nice expensive wheels for looks. They offer awesome sizes and offsets that cheaper wheels don't. But now that wheel companies like xxr are starting to listen to what people want and are making better sizes and offsets, why hate on them? I don't care too much about drag racing, and I don't road race my s14. I drift it. My car will break loose just fine with heavy "knockoff" wheels, or legit light wheels so what's the difference? And if I wreck I would rather bend or scratch a cheap wheel. I can understand if the xxr's weighed like 50lbs vs 20 something of other light awesome wheels but I'm pretty sure they only weigh a little more. And in the grand scheme of things you won't notice that difference until you start trying to shave every pound off your car or start trying to shave seconds off of times at the track. And I don't think "cheap" wheels including rota's just explode or bend for no reason. If you hit something, there is a chance you break something. This is true for everything on your car regardless of price.

Yeah dude, got all dat weight man. Really sucks how these new xxr wheels weigh 100 pounds each. Sucks. Probably shouldn't buy these.

Pretty neat until you finish mounting them on your car, & you drive around town on your fresh new wheels and see 4 Evos, 2 Subarus, & 17 fellow 240SX's with the same wheels.

REAL COOL

i feel like xxr is becoming to make a name for itself. ya there heavy and not "ligit" as some would say but each year they just keep improving. these new wheels look great and xxr has improved alot since they started as sportmax. everyone has to start somewhere. but i guess its time they should start improving more in the performance aspect and not looks.
all in all these wheels look sick but i dont think i could ever get rid of my fn01rc's for these

The funny thing is that in reality if we had any common sense and saw how bad of an investment modding cars was we would never buy any parts, especially over priced high end parts. Now having said that I jyst ordered some xxr's to roll on till my 3rd set of work wheels delivers in another 11 weeks lol....

Which is exactly what I want. If they ask, I would still lie to them. Rule of thumb, "Yea, I have full godspeed suspension."
