Can anybody explain why the sway bar on the driftworks car is mounted to the bottom of the RLCA and why it is mounted so low? Thanks!

Stock the cars mount the sway bar down there. As far as why they were too lazy to make an angle bracket above the existing bracket and move the endlink up, you got me...

Nah, 18's all around.

Because the sway bar is always mounted to the bottom of the LCA? Have you looked under your car lately?

Not as low as some of us, but not exactly high:





The knuckles still correct a lot of the drop. I wish they would give us a shot of the front on the ground.

I don't see why not.

It's like the exact same as the S-chassis rear arms, with the exception that you'll need that steel insert for the upright.

does anybody know just how much extra "traction" you can dial in with aftermarket traction rods? like can you make a significant improvement on grip with them? I'm going to pick a pair shortly, just curious as to what other people have noticed from having them.

The length of the traction rods can help with keeping the toe change to a consistent level as it compresses and expands, almost eliminating the toe out situation as the rear suspension compresses.

so I guess you can almost use it as a second toe rod then yeah? i just really need to add more grip to the rear of my car without buying more expensive tires.

So at this point you extend the traction rod a little further than what stock is toi achieve that?

Yes.

From PSM web-site:

~Increase traction by shortening this rod 1cm from stock length on higher cars or lengthen this rod for super low cars for correct geometry.

When they make the S13 version, you can simply bolt them on your Z32. S13 and Z32 lower arms are the same.

I AM HOPING that you guys develop the rear drop spindle with z32 shock mount... not only will you make me happy you'll attract z32 owners to this... and... if im not mistaken the later r chassis r34 uses z32 style rear spindle no? Plus j30? I think?

On a double wishbone suspension, when you make an RC correction to the lower control arm, do you also have to make a correction to the upper A arm? Will it mess up you camber curve if you don't?

From the research that some of the NRR guys did, yes, you lengthen the rod when you have lower than stock ride height, and at one point, there was barely any change in toe, going from droop to compression.

anyone know if these are aval off the shelf for the S chassis? just wondering if the taper of the ball joint on the outter tie rod is aval on an adjustable tie rod adapter like the one in the link below. . .

I've just started keeping up with this thread and one of the main things I want to fix on my s chassis is the tie rod angle. Any input is appreciated!

NRR is another website which Def, codyace, and a couple of others belong too. It stands for Nissan Road Racing....

SPL tie rods and most aftermarket tie rods include heim joints, just depends on the quality of joints you want.... So far SPL has been the best.... MR and Kazama suck loose after about a year....
