I'm in the process of polishing the covers. That was a bad idea. But the calipers clean easy and the pads produce hardly any dust. Plus I only drive it like once a week.

I ask because I had a valve cover powdercoated white, and the concept seemed like a good idea... but then when I opened the hood to change out the old (spray-painted white) valve cover, I could see that keeping this nice one clean would be a huge pain... so I have yet to put it on.

Keeping my white wheels clean is hard enough, I couldn't imagine cleaning the calipers.

You would recommend against it then, I'm assuming? How do you clean it as is?
