aasbo got robbed when he had his supra replaced with the gay ass TC. he KILLED with that supra. granted, he still kills, but u can tell he was much better in his supra.

and i agree, i didn't like his car really at first, but afer i seeing it in person, i really like it. and my god he tore shit up. i was a lil against him for going v8, but now i see why they did. it seems he needed it to get the lil competitive edge that he was missing. though they coulda just built the KA-t a lil more... hes gunna rock this season (no pun intended).

This morning, I bought pair of used 215/45/17 General Exclaim UHP tires with 8/32th left for $40[wow, cheap!]. then I mounted them on my drift spare wheels[17x9+17] with bottle of simple green and a wrench. I now feel like a red neck.

Truth. If the master is willing to help I'd be honored. I may be in touch.

Nate: I wish I could kit it and be cool, just way too many other things to do first.

Why..... Just why? Does suspension performance not matter the slightest bit to you?

Jump up and down on the side walls of the tires on both sides to soften them up a bit.

Lube up the beads on the tire with water/soap or what ever, in my case, simple green.

first layer of beads can be put on with bit of force if lubed up right.

second and final layer beads takes bit of work. put on as much bead as possible on the wheel, stand on the tires to hold both sides of the beads from un-beading. and slowly work your way in with any tire iron like tool[i used the back of a crassent wrench with the round side] until the beads are in the wheel.

air up the tire and done.

Excellent man. I'm considering doing the same thing for the fun of it. I've some some real shitty drift spares I don't mind to practice on. I am just worried about setting the bead (don't have the balls to use fire ahaha).

well, depends on the wheel and tires really. unless it's a extreme stretch, it shouldn't need the works of fire. then again, who doesn't like playing with fire from time to time? haha.

just make sure if you are using the fire method, take the valve stem out and have an air source readily available. because you are going to want to start putting air into the tire right after it beads in other wise it may unbead itself from lack of positive pressure.
