Ok my pics are horribly grainy (will get some good ones this year) and 90% from a camera phone, but here's my work in progress...
Around when I got it: Cleaned up (old wheels): New wheels (but dirty!): She has a long way to go but she's also come a long way since I got her.... Anyone have recommendations on where to get a Navan bumper? I might just stick stock and get a new lip (mine is pretty beat up) but I do like the Navan... Also getting euro glass headlights soon and coils should be ordered in a week or so. |

I took off the rear because I was making adjustments and needed access to tow hook. I haven't been on ull track yet but I intend on taking off aero for this weekend. Once I get a little better I'd like to drive with aero and stuff.

Also, is it worth looking into places on the other side of the tunnel? Norfolk or Ocean View area. Anything further than that, I start worrying about how much of a pain traffic is gonna be to get to Langley. Suffolk area crossing the James River Bridge worth looking into? Worried about traffic once you cross into Newport. Anyways, keep an eye out for a chassis. I need a drivable car once I get there and then slowly throw my shit into it. Fuck this SR bullshit...I'm bringing back an RB25. |

Nopes, ours is on top of a 4 story building
You'd be surprised. I've seen folks leave Nago with the car shaped like a U. There's a hidden pole in bushes that seems to be found by folks ever so often. Also, coming straight out of the chute, if you just understeer straight, there's a 20 foot drop off that I've seen people teether on. Quote:
Plus I figured going RB25 would be cheaper for me to do. Solid mounts that I can get locally here, notch the elbow to clear the steering rack and just need a custom driveshaft. I'm gonna learn to do the harness before I leave, I can potentially get the engine in the car running for less than $1k. I'm lining up parts for it already, find somebody with a RB25 TS2BD flywheel and I can use my SR clutch for it (OS Giken clutches are all the same across types, flywheels are what makes them car specific), reuse my oil cooler with some modification, PFC, bigger injectors and intake manifold. All I'd have to do is get a better T3 turbo and I can make atleast 400hp safely. Stock RB25 has been proven out here to make over 600hp without touching the engine other than HG and bigger cams. You guys do realize that JDM headlights suck right? Suck just like USDM headlights...both lenses are made out of plastic. Euro Specs are the only one that are made with glass lenses. |
