Yeah, I never used to like silver wheels much and thought they were boring when I was younger. Maybe it is just my old age now, but I really like silver wheels on almost ever color of car!

I used to love the "gunblue" color that looked like a bright silver in some light, but a gunmetal in other light. That unfortunately wasn't a color option for me, but I thought that would look cool too!

I thought white was cool too, but too hard to keep clean and a little too attention-grabbing for me. I love them on Kuruptr's car though, so nice! I also like them on red a lot...

haha, I do like the BROWN ones a lot! I hadn't seen a kouki 180 with silver TEs before when i ordered them, so I thought it would be cool to do something a little different. Unfortunately Treefish beat me to it! His car looks so rad!

You're very right my friend... I loved the CR Kais and I still think they look amazing on the car. I might own a set in the same sizes with WMB someday since I think they fit the car really well. There are for sure a lot of Type X cars with TEs, but I love the look! Gotta go with what you like best I guess... the hookup helped a lot too!

This post is dedicated to MIKE @ ClearCorners.com...

I picked up some Hella H4 lenses so that I wouldn't hit something at night and damage my authentic TYPE X lip... I just installed them earlier this evening:

Hella on the right, clear H4 lenses on the left:

I also got my Volk Formula lug nuts and Mercury Silver TE center caps a week or two ago... I can't believe how much Volk gets for these center caps! lol oh well:

Ordered brand new headlight plastics and metal covers from Nissan yesterday. Russell and I were both shocked that they still had them- I guess there were like eight sets left or something.

I really wanted that set, but he didn't seem to want to sell them to me. He said he didn't think they would do my car justice, and then I never heard back, haha. Thankfully I got such an awesome deal on the brand new silver set, so it worked out for the best. I added you on FB the other day, lol... car looks rad as always!

I took advantage of the nice weather yesterday and got to work on my lower control arms. First, I burned out the stock bushings and pressed in the Energy Suspension ones, which actually went surprisingly well. I expected them to be more of a pain like the rears were, but it wasn't bad at all.

I was at my grandpa's house and didn't think to bring my camera, but I did remember to snap a cell picture of the festivities:

After that, my cousin Nick and I managed to press out the old ball joints and press the Megan RCAs in with a bench vice, some extended sockets, and an old pipe. It was super sketchy and I thought one of us was going to get impaled by something, but we got the job done haha.

Earlier this week, I undercoated the front wheel wells and behind the fenders while those are off of the car, so everything is ready to go back together up there. Shane, Trevor, and Tim are coming over tomorrow night to hang out and get it back together. I should be able to drive it over the weekend hopefully. I'll post some pictures of the progress on Saturday.

I don't know about Damon, and I hope I'm not stepping on his toes here, but I did Magical Trevors car this past weekend and I used an industrial degreaser and a wire brush. With a little elbow grease it was all cleaned up. Then I coated it with new undercoating (which will go over ANYTHING) and it looks brand new.

I brushed it off for about 5 minutes and sprayed, lol. I undercoted it back when i got the car, so this was mostly just a touch up from rubbing when I was running a balloon tire up front.

yeah i had 1/2 a can and over the summer, in a spur of stupidity, i sprayed it when i relocated my harness. Everythign was so dirty and i still sprayed, so its bound to start rusting. I wanna get it all off, clean it with spirits, and then redo. Maybe tackle the frame rails a bit too

Thank you, sir.
