What rails will work with Recaro sr3 in a S13? Will either Bride MO or LR work?
How low is the Birde MO or LR seat rails? For example: I'm 5'6 and I have the bride MO and I can't see the hood of my car. |

The cars came with 205's because they got better fuel mileage for the fleet average and nothing more. The reason for moving to a larger size, even from 205 to 215 is for a larger contact patch which translates to better grip. The measurable performance grip moving from width dim to width dim will translate to a faster lap time by full seconds, 10th seconds, and 100th seconds. The difference from going from a 205 to 225 would make a case analogy as running a track event in dress shoes vs a good lightweight pair of track shoes in overall grip, braking, and acceleration performance through both straight and technical sections of track. Lap times would be faster by full seconds. Then again, there is also the overall look with wider tires as applied to stance and overall look. Wider tires on correctly sized rims fill the wheel house better and either tuck or poke as the individual prefers

Yes, the MO fits just fine. I have a Recaro SR4 which has the exact same mounting holes with the SR3 and it fits perfectly. It doesnt mount too low to the floor imo. I'm 6' and I have no visibility problem at all in my s13.

considering buying a 92' s13 as a side project that could turn into a daily, it has some problems.
Sellers Quote: "i recently just bought this, car was running 100% before, something shorted in the radio harness, so far iv replaced ecu and mafupdate: fixed the limp mode, now car just bogs down if any more than 20% throttle is given, (might be a simple fix)?" what do you guys think the problem is? how expensive could it run to fix, worst and best case? would it be worth it or is the car toast? |

There's a fs thread and you can base it off his listing price. The offset is too high. But m5 are rare. Btw Nsx guys love the m5s and usually have deeper pockets. Just saying.

S13 uses a banjo with a bolt the Z32 does not the fitting looks similar to a hardline going into a MC. You can use the S13 line but you need a smaller bolt. Keep in mind the Z32 caliper does not have anything to hold on to the banjo so it 'might' come loose. Pic of stock Z32 brake lines used on an S13 |

If its the top hat stud then yeah just hammer that bitch out. If its from the strut to knuckle mount just buy a bolt extractor it's a handy tool to always have

*headlights (usdm, or jdm) *corner lenes *front bumper (usdm, or jdm) *both fenders *front bumper retainer *headlight brackets (optional) *hood *grill (usdm, or jdm) *fender brackets(optional) *front bumper stays(two brackets that connect to the front bumper) Correct me if I forgot something, well hope this helps, I'd recommend saving up and buying a front clip from ebay. That way you would have everything you need, it would be cheaper in the long run believe me, good luck. On to my question, where do you buy the side markers for the s14 (blinker on the fender?)... |

Randomly got this slack in my throttle cable yesterday:
I tried tightening the cable with the little 2 nut/bracket deal, but it did not help get rid of the slack at all.. What could be the problem? |

help???
can anyone help me?? i have a 96 s14 and im in chicago, i tuck my car to the emission test and it got rejected it just says not ready on the codes, i have fixes my o2 sensor and some other sensor that have to do with the emissions, but nothing then the mechanic said drive it far to get the ecu to read the codes but nothing then, they said to ad 98% alchol and drive it far and still nothing. so i really dont know what to do know im thinking of disconnecting the ecu and pluging it back in to see if that works and reset something at this point i dont care if it fails cause if it does i could still get my license plate sticker with the waiver cause i have waisted more than the requiered to be eligible for the waiver

2 cans for three gallons of gas. Empty the car down to 3 gallons, add the alcohol. It will clean up the exhaust to passable standards. What you are doing here is hyperoxygenating your fuel:air mix so that there is more O2 in the mix. When the fuel burns it expresses a higher ratio of O2 than NO or CO thus dropping the NO and CO ratios down to an acceptable level. Comprende?

From the looks of it, All three ports looked flared. What makes you say they shouldn't be? Flaring helps seal the line to the Master cylinder.
