This is just the initial drop as large mining operations stop buying cards and building rigs. They are in a wait and see pattern for when Serenity hits. They know when to get out.
When gpu mining becomes unprofitable in the coming months the SHTF price drop will happen.

I do hope amd will be more competitive with the upper end Navi gpus come ‘20-‘21. One can try to be optimistic. Maybe amd is more focused in being as profitable as possible, which is understandible for a business.

When is he not? I cringed when he got the Intel Xeon PHI card and tried to use it as a video adapter. Then claimed it didn't work with little research. When people have been using them for mining for years.

It's been a known issue for a while with windows and how it manages threads. Really made apparent when Ryzen came out. http://www.theoverclocker.com/window...n-performance/ Windows has always sucked at this. It's just becoming more apparent with the higher core count and new topology's of cpus.

I am really underwhelmed so far with the RTX cards. All this ray tracing stuff does not mean anything till we know benchmark numbers.
The 2080ti will have to be a beast among beasts to justify a 500 increase of the 1080ti.

I was so excited for the new GPU's, but man am I bummed after the announcement. The 2080Ti looks awesome, the tech behind it is sweet, but $1200 with no games that properly support it, I'll pass. I am still excited to see how they perform in current titles and how the ray tracing tech improves in the next year or so.
Time to hunt for a used 1080Ti, my 3440x1440 monitor is killing my 980Ti... Sent from my OnePlus 6

Not me. I have no use for a TR at all. The 8086k is a beast processor. I don’t edit, stream or anything. I’d love to trade my 4690K for one.

I never liked MSI Afterburner and I don't get what all the hype is about. Can someone clue me in?
