clutch might be getting towards the end of its life or needs adjusted but most likely replaced by the sounds of it

PROBLEM: i have a leak coming from my turbo banjo bolt that my dad put in after swapping the turbo but the problem is he started to thread it in wrong then continued doing it now it leaks a good amount of oil from that bolt.
MY QUESTION: if i take out the banjo bolt to replace it, will the thread on the block be effected or is the banjo bolt taking all the threading effect?

if you are going to look at one with a sunroof, check underneath the back side of the door and near the back tire there before the wheel well. they poorly designed the drain for the roof, and mine has terrible rust there as a result. my front frame rail is rusted a bit too, but that could be because its a Michigan car.

S13 hatchback
Okay, got my fortune auto coils installed. Fortune auto arms on the way. Running 16x8+20 right now, but will run 17x9+20 w/ 215/40. I'm trying to track down some form of modified alignment specs for the shop to use..
or some type of guidance. Ride height is set to minimal tire gap.

70+psi at FPR

I'm just about ready to crank my engine.(want to Roll over a few times 1st)

When Pump Primes..I get a reading of 70-80psi at the gauge on the Tomei regulator.

What would cause That? I adjusted/tightened/lowered Regulator since Its new and never Set yet and Still Pretty damn High.

I can only think that maybe I routed the feed/return Sections wrong??? Hardline Side??its Correct from rail and from Filter.

anyone Have a pic showing correct "Body" Fuel Hardlines that go from and to??

searched, couldnt find a *definitive* answer. for those that have solid subframe bushings in your car, how bad was the ride after? i've ridden in one car, once, with them and didnt notice much but i plan to DD the car with pbm solid risers/bushings and dont want to go through all the trouble to find i absolutely hate it. car will see mostly track and comfort isnt the most important thing but it needs to be dd'able

Question: How difficult is it to make a tube front?

I've done fab work as far as building gokart frames and am currently building a supermilage racer, so I have a bit of experience, but never with a car.

SEARCH FIRST
it says it right in the title

240sx arent mystical cars, what ever people say for other cars are the same for this. Either way, you are most likely going to run into problems. These car's are like whores. Theyve been passed around so many times that youre lucky to find a stock one, and even then sometimes its been touched

Can someone explain how tie rod spacers work? I get that it pushes one tie rod out, but wouldn't you then have to thread the outer on more? Which doesn't make sense to me. I keep thinking that the tie rod would still be the same length. I'm just curious and for some reason I can't figure it out...

think about it when the rack is at lock. yes the outer tie rod has to be threaded on more to compensate, but when the rack is turned all the way to one direction, that spacer is pushing the inner/outer tie rod combo out further, effecting your steering. make sense? so when your wheels are straight, no change (because its been realigned) but when you turn to lock, you get a slight increase in angle

You will need a new FLCA, or to get the Nismo style bushings with the sleeve. That's the only way. Much like I said in the first post and reply to your question.

Get zero toe, run 7* of caster, and set your camber so it doesn't rub. Ideally you'd want Front camber around 2, rear around 1.5 for a street car.

Pump - Line -Filter - Rail - FPR - Return

When you disconnect the vacuum source, and key on, it should show 43.5 psi. Adjust accordingly.

If it's a track car, who cares. If it's your fun car (which I assume it's going to see much more street time than track time) then it all depends on your tolarence. I personally prefer the Eurothane ones, it's just a smidge less harsch to me. If it was a full on track car, I woulda went solid and been done, but I do drive my car around.

It's all relative to your fab ability, and motavation.

Makes sense. So would spacers be needed on both sides? I've seen a few things with just a spacer on one side. Stupid simple questions but I can't figure it out for the life of me.

ya spacers on both sides. if im not mistaken i believe the "one spacer" deal was because the rack was supposed to be able to move further out to one side (drivers?) so you'd put the spacer on the other side to even it out. i just pust spacers on both sides when i got my tein tie rods
