I am running that wheel up front, i needed to add a small spacer to clear Z32 brakes. I'm running 225/45s with -4.8* of camber. If you don't mind running that much neg camber those tires MIGHT fit depending on the brand. They will be very square on that wheel, and i would guess that you would have to run like a 3mm spacer rather than a 10mm. If you want less neg camber it will probably be hard to fit those with out some serious fender massaging. Check the pictures of my car a page or two back.

A buddy of mine had 235/40s on a 17x9 rpf1 for drifting and ended up switching to fiberglass wide fenders cause it was rubbing everywhere.

Also, 240cali, WTF are you posting those in here for? This is the ANTI-AERO thread.

Hey Captain, I've got 18x10 +25 wheels and thinking of stretching 225/35/18's. I don't know how well it's going to fit with stock fenders.

Can anyone help me with this?

Interesting. See this setup was suggested accross the board by all the road race gguys for the stock body. Since most classes wont allow body mods they try to get as much wheel and tire under them (obviously).

Im surprised youre having issues with brake clearance. I was planning on running the z32 brakes myself.

I dunno, if you've seen the set up fit with a particular tire brand then go for it, every brand fits a little differently. Also, S14s will be able to fit more tire than S13s, you have to make sure the advice you're getting is for the right chassis. Also drifting will rub more than road racing cause you are going from lock to lock so often. Road racing might have higher cornering G forces but you will rarely be at full lock ya know.

Yea i needed just a tiny spacer to clear the brakes with the 17x9 +22 offset.

Im getting solid advice from road racers, they know the chassis. So youre just saying wheel well rubbing not fender.

What part of the caliper would contact the wheel?

no the fender rubs. with a 225/45 mine will rub under hard cornering IF i hit a bump at the same time.

If you have seen examples of that set up that works then by all means run that. I am just guessing that it'll rub based on what i run and what i have seen friends run. Also ride height will make a huge difference, that hasn't been mentioned. I am pretty low and my friend's car with the 235/40s is even lower. At a more reasonable ride height it might not be an issue.

But yea, if you are getting advice from dudes that are using that tire size on that size/offset wheel on the track then copy their suspension settings and go for it. There is no replacement for direct experience.

And the caliper was touching at the point of the caliper furthest from the center of the car (I don't know where else it would hit?).
