WSS in Van Nuys and Pan-City still had them until Tuesday. I'm sure it may have taken a week to sell but yeah, it's not as a quick sell for a GR JB shoe. Buc-Town please stop.. Now they sit at WSS because its WSS .. If you don't believe in 250,000 pairs then your a fool underestimating the power of the jump man. This shoe was missing the "HYPE" the toro 4s had selling 400,000 1st week.. You're correct not selling

It's not about the hype nor the OG colorway, I don't even remember Jordan wearing the III Fire Reds. To all the young whipper snappers out there, the III Cements has more value because it's what he wore when he flew from the free throw line which won him the Slam Dunk against Clyde Drexler in 1988. That's why I never cared for the Fire Reds and probably will not be part of my collection, I won't be surprised if I see it racked next to the AJ XIII in Footlocker.

Good menial-effort though trying to Market Jordan Brand, but you're just wasting your time.We already have people doing that in EKIN. How is it not 'Hyped' (as people like you love to say it) when the release dates are provided months in advance. It just shows that the shoe is not selling as you hoped it to be, you're butt hurt because you probably you lost money buying half a dozen pairs hoping that you could resell them to get a $15-20 profit so you have extra cash to buy that $500 Celebration Pack! And may be partially pay your bills... Sleep it off brother-man, instead of sharing your feelings in Nike Forum and putting comments in kicksonfire, may be you can recoup those losses in your dream.

This is what i think too. Shoes that get hyped on the sneaker sites are "hot" for whatever reason the Fire Red 3's were not.

It isn't solely about media hype. The fire reds didn't sell as well as the cement OG because Nike made more of the fire reds.

Resellers and hypebeasts wanted the cements more because they were less distributed.

Do you all think the red yeezy's would sell out if Nike made that shoe a general release with no allocations? Or even funnier, if Nike made that silhouette available on Nike iD...

If you pay attention to resale prices, it use to be that any Jordan retro to come out would sell out immediately and sell online for a fair bit of money.

Now everyone and their mother is buying with the sole purpose of reselling. With everyone selling, and nobody buying, prices eventually fall.

People use to buy Foamposites and resell them for $350~ Now you can barely sell them for retail + tax.

It's a cycle. But I don't care. I got them because I like them. Not because of some Nike influenced chaos.

Not necessarily.

They keep up the demand by keeping the supply low.

It's kinda like, in music, no one wants to say they like band x, once it becomes popular, because they're "mainstream" or because everyone likes them now.

the lebron X Celeb packed is hyped at its max level.. i mean.. resell value is at $3-$4K..fucking redonk... I play ball in Lebron X, and its probably the most comfortable shoes i've played ball in, but the Lows are just straight UUGGGLLLYYY...the elites are alright though, but Id stick with some pretty simple colorway on the LBJ X.

As for the Fire Red III.. I copped me a pair walking in Foot Locker, havent had an experience like that for awhile on the shoes i wanted.
