your car is definitely a freak or your some awesome driver or both....most 240s run a full second slower than that stock

but did you have to revive a topic that's been dead for three months?

sorry meant 15.21 but my car has something wrong with it now and it can only do high 15's and low 16's.  It's been slower since the check engine light went OFF, go figure.

This is probably annoying, but how about this:

My '90 240SX SE

against

My freinds '95 V6 Avenger

Both auto, both stock...

I heard the avenger is 0-60 in like 9 secs.....
How would my 240 compare to that?

Well as for the first race, the corola is an easy win, the cavalier will be your challange.  Just make sure you take off your resonator box before your race.

As for the avenger, I don't think you'll beat the stock torque of the v6 avanger.  My $0.02.

For christ's sake, it's a corolla and a CAVALIER!  I don't care what engine it has, the body's put together by Chevy!  He'll probably scatter bolts all over the road when he shifts!  And I like Corollas, but come on, you have a Nissan!  Makers of the 300z's, the 510's.  Is there really any doubt you'll kick their @$$?

A 91 and later 240 should be able to edge out the older (98 or so and back) V6 Mustangs. If my source is right, they've got us beat in torque, but only 145 horsepower in a much heavier vehicle. I'll have to drive my friend's stang a bit more before I decide finally <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>
