Hey my name is Corey, I got a 76 280z, been going to forums (including zilvia) for years but just finally signed up. Looking to do an engine swap, leaning rb20det for now; been changing my mind on what to do weekly for two years, and been simply trying to save money for the project.
Any cheep parts for the swap would be appreciated, advice too I guess. -Corey Hi |

name is Mannie and I need help, I found a 97 240sx for sale but its auto. I wanted to buy it and do a manual swap on it but most of my friends are telling not to do it because it won't feel natural. I need some one that had a manual converted to tell me their opinion.
Thanks |

Seriously Mannie, I don't know what your friends think they're talking about. It is a swap, so you'll have to collect some parts for it but it pretty strait forward and would only take someone with little experience but willing to do the work a weekend at most to have a 5speed. It's an excuse to hang out with your friends and teach them a thing or two. The chassis' aren't two different designs between auto and manual.

Hi there Community. I wanted to introduce myself here and say hello. I love motorsports, most notably not nascar... cause they just cant drive right... lol... anyway, bad pun? Umm... I love driving. I admire all sports involving challenging the skills to operate a motor vehicle. I happen to have just purchased my very first Nissan 240sx. I have driven it over a hundred miles already, it hasn't even been 24 hours since I paid the man. I love working with my hands and tinkering in the garage avoiding wife agro, lolz anway, so yea, I don't have any pics yet worthy of posting so I will wait. Hope to get to know some local enthusiasts here, maybe receive some help if I need it and ask for it, and perhaps even make a few friends. I have never drifted, owned a drifting car, but I have gone sideways plenty in my friends old van... lol

Hello all. Posting up for the first time on Zilvia. Im Miles. Bought a 89 240sx coupe. Wife had a 93 SE when we met so im somewhat familiar with them. Its since been gone so decide to pick this up for a cheap cheap deal.
I do have a ton of questions. Wiring and conversion fitment stuff. Im very handy with cars and spend 45 hrs a week at work with them. I drive a Jeep TJ. Wife drives Lexus IS250. End goal with my coupe. sr20det silvia DD |

Hey guys, my name is Russ, and I'm an alcoholic. XD JK. I found this forum when searching for KA24DE swap stuff for my '89 Pignose, and became a member a little while back. Ended up buying the car from a kid who blew up the KA24E that was originally in it and purchased it with a KA24DE ready to drop in. Really looking forward to rebuilding that, and dropping it in, but have big plans for the car later on with a VG30E swap. As soon as money kicks in, there will be a build thread for sure. Just my two cents. Peace.

Hello everyone! I'm Dean and pretty much brand new to the 240sx scene. Looking to pick one up, but don't know how much to offer. Is there any way we can price check cars here on this forum? Anyways, I currently have an Evo IX MR SE as a weekend warrior and looking to daily drive a 97-98 240sx. Hoping to learn tons about the car!

Intro special.
Hey all, figured it's about that time I do an intro post and actually become a part of the community. Name's Andrew and I've been apart of Zilvia for about 3 years now, bought a small amount of stuff and learned a lot. My car's a 1995 Nissan 240SX SE, it had a '97 JDM Kouki front end conversion with OEM Metal fenders, but the first bumper went to shit after a few street sessions... haha so I picked up a URAS rep bumper on here, refitted it and rocked ever since. Other notable mod's include D-Max D1 Coilovers, Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood, Bride Zeta III Driver's seat with rails and Takata Harnesses. A Mazworx Harness Bar and a welded diff. D-Max LED Tail Lights in the back. Specs bruh... 18 inch Gram Light 57S-Pro's (also from Zilvia) with Nitto NT555 Tires and Project Kics lugnuts. Serious lack of engine mod's tho, KA24DE with a AEM intake and DC Sports headers with a test pipe and a Blitz exhaust system. That's the car, I mainly skateboard, or work and do homework... pretty much an Intro I feel.

Intro
Hey guys, just wanted to pop by and say hello. I just picked up a 89' 240sx coupe from a neighbor of mine. So far it has coils, an apexi cat back, and a 5-lug swap. Still trying to find a good price on a silvia front end, and more mods to come.
Cheers |

Hey all, the name's Greg.
Browsed this forum for a while, but never joined - didn't see a need to. Bought a '89 240SX XE two-tone (green/gray) about a week and a half ago, and remembered this forum since I've been looking for a set of OEM alloys from a '91-'95 so I can have a set of summer tires and a set of winter tires. (Apparently, I can't create a thread in the Wanting to Buy section of the forum, though...) |

Hello everyone,
My name is EJ and I drive a 89 240sx hatch. Im a current auto student at El Camino. I've had my S13 for about 3 years now and decided to be a part of the Zilvia community. At the moment Im hunting down a Blitz I-Burner kit, so if you have one I'll buy it off of you! My current mods are, Injen intake, Mishimoto radiator, Tein basic suspension, EM Usa arms, Buddy Club Spec 2 exhaust and P1 Rims and a VIS Vspeed body kit. I am a beginner at drifting on a college student budget, any kind of helpful info to improving my car or driving would be greatly appreciated. |
