Yup, that is from my local track, there are two or three of them. Honestly very good drivers but it looks like a demo derby going around the track, very boring to watch. All the excitement is lost for me when people drift shit boxes because who cares, theirs no risk, no style.

EVD used to be really fun, hot lapping, no cages, the Canadians would come down and crush it.

Now they try and make it like a mini FD with their own Grassroots series which has shifted the focus in the entirely wrong direction.

215/40 on 18x9.5 is what the article said, if I recall correctly. Kind of sad because that car actually looks quite cool and proper. But thanks to all the 'ain't care' kids the police will eventually just crack down on everyone.

Miss the days when 'stance' was just drift car style and no one else did it and there were no stupid terms for it, unlike the butt of jokes cheesy subculture it has turned into today, which just ruins it for individuals who actually have cool cars with nice wheel setups.

The silly thing is that there are countless videos of people crashing Mustangs/Camaros/BMW's on YouTube, many of them completely stock, because no one has an issue with selling heavy overpowered cars to the public.
I have yet to hear of anyone causing a wreck due to a stretched tire unbeading or blowing out, or due to the car being lowered, but for some reason such cars are deemed extremely unsafe.

So already having a good breathing 700-1000hp capable engine and deciding "fuck it, let's spend $5k and put a Chevy in there" is idiotic. It's like shoving a Chevy 383 into a Supra.

Everytime i see posts on facebook ranting about stance, i imagine the person saying it, is probably that guy doing a burn out in the srt ram that rolls over in the ditch, or the old guy peeling out in the mustang that looses it into oncoming traffic lol. All the legit stance cars, i think honestly do care alot about their cars and don't really do any "hooning" (excluding the shitboxes).
