In the front it may be a bit of a hassle. Might need to pull your fenders, and camber them in. In the rear, They should be alright, not too aggressive, but not sunken.

Hey guys, I had a question for those of you with cruise control in an s13. My current s13 the cruise works as expected, except I have to turn cruise on every time I start the car. Is that standard for a 240? Shouldn't it stay on until I turn it off?

yeah they would probably be for rears - im deciding against it cause 9.5 is too wide for my anyways. Stock ka would prolly have a heart attack trying to get them to break traction

no the 5 bolts came from 180sx's and yeah like 200 bucks or so i guess but only if you have axles.

doomvillian: those would be 180 kouki tails with covers over the outer lights and the center color matched.

icedsole: i would suggest getting the s13 red cts and seeing if that works chances are it will and you have an early model s14 sr.

kits don't really exist because its a fabrication item it requires either welding a bracket to your spindle or building a bracket to come off the spindle, that i know of no one mass produces either option.

You need 5 bolt 180sx axles. or some pre 95 j30 5 bolt axles. contact pandagarage.com to see if they can sell you just the axles

Ok so my current suspension set up on my 14 is rsr springs on kyb gr2 struts they are pretty stiff for a spring and strut combo. My question is anyone know which camber plates I could run with it and which brand would be best?

5 bolt vlsd's also came in non-turbo Z32's, which is possibly/probably where yours came from. It will bolt in with J30 axles, if you have an S13 youll need to use an S13 dif cover. The dif itself is worth $75-125, but people here on zilvia usually charge heavy drift tax for them. They lock up alright, if youre looking to do any REAL drifting, its probably not for you. But if your car is primarily a street car, VLSD is the way to go on a budget. They lock up well, but start pooping out once they get real hot. So if youre just doing the occasional slide in a desolate intersection, its a worthwhile investment. If youre building a drift car, just go welded if youre on a budget.

Check the coolant temp sensor. Theres a few things it could be, but thats where Id start.

Camber plates for springs/struts arent really necessary. You can get camber bolts for the front, and rear upper control arms for the rear.

Why dont you just put the key in the ignition, and pull fuses out 1 by 1 until the wipers shut off?

fuse for my turn signals melted inside the fusebox and when i was able to pull it out, one of the prongs were left stuck in there. Tried everything to try and get it out but it's not happening.
What's my best bet to getting my turn signals working again?

They 'say' 6 bolts are stronger, however it takes a super severe amount of abuse to ruin them, or a huge amount of power (400+ and some sticky tires)

You may be able to get enough out of the OE camber bolts (or by slotting the lower holes), but going with a quality Upper mount/plate isn't a bad idea, considering new mounts are pricey.

I prefer the T3 mounts myself (TechnoToyTuning).

Does anyone know about how much an 18x9 or 18x10 SSR Vienna Kreis wheel will weigh? I'm about to get a set, and was curious. Tried Google, didn't find anything.

Ok so I'm retarded and jumped the gun with that drift knob shit. I installed it without removing the spring like I was supposed to. So I tried to pull the drift knob off. Now my ebrake won't stay up and it doesent click when I pull the ebrake up. However when I pressed the drift knob all the way down and try and pull the ebrake up I hear clicks but it doesent sound like the same clicks you hear when you pull it up and it stays up. Anyone know how to fix this?

what is the point of a solid shifter? I saw a tomei one and i'm kinda going to be taking apart the shifter stuff for cleaning/maintenance and was thinking i might as well replace it...

Is there any performance gain from that shit? Or just for shorter shift throws

I'm pretty sure the housing themselves are aimed to the left slightly. USDM aims to the right, so we don't blind drivers, and has a specific percent of scatter light for lighting up signs and all that.

My cibie ones (French or Belgian) aim to the left with high beams, the low beams cut off to the right

Helps for when dicks run with high beams, i blind the shit outta them

Just a one piece, vs multiple peice like most.

Gain wise...well,less shit to go wrong, but nothing beyond that.

In regard to shifters though, you can't go wrong with a B+M IMO. Solid construction, precise, and ZERO slop or issues. Some do regard it as being a tad notchy due to the greater reduction in throw, but I like the mechanical feel of it (then again, I'm used to most domestic setups, so notchy is normal).
