Made some more progress, got all the coolant, power steering, fuel, and oil lines all routed. Also got the oil filter relocation all mocked up. Was a bit tight on the routing, but the ease of changing filters from now on will be so worth it. -10 AN lines from the Tomei adapter to the filter bracket.
Now to get started on the wiring.

Every now and then I find a bit of time to work on my own car. Started dismantling it. Hopefully it can be up and running with the new motor in a couple months.
Modifying the s13 sr harness to fit like oem in the white s13 as well. Also got the aero all fitted up on one of the Hatches. Fit a lot better then we expected it to.

Hopefully will be able to fire this thing up in a week or so.
Wired in a setup to run the maxima fans, runs off a thermo switch we installed in the water neck on the sr. Also has an override switch that will be wired into the dash.

Now... Sota240 don't think for a moment I have forgotten about the s14 and the 1jz swap. I think you need to give some updates regarding that.
I myself picked up a 2j couple weeks ago too.

Yeah, havent had much time to work on it since my day job has been extremely busy this time of year. But here are some updates, was going to put this in stock but I got a bit carried away. Purchased a turbo, getting a custom twin scroll bottom mount manifold, pretty sure it will be getting a Haltech PS200 to control it. Will update with more on that stuff later on.
Also figured out my oil situation. 3/4 - 16 thread about 2.5" long. Trans-Dapt Spin on Filter adapter, x2 -10AN line fittings Helped cut down on all that unnecessary items for the OEM setup. Hopefully will be getting to do more work on it soon, gonna wrap up the white s14 this week/weekend. And then focus on getting my car together.

Got some progress made, finished up the sr swap on the white s14. Now that the white s14 is done I can begin to work on my car again, well untill we bring the 2jz Starion back in to get a whole new custom chassis harness/fuse box setup.

S14 has just been aquiring parts, but in the meantime, we just picked up these two RX7's
The white one will be getting a JZ swap for its owner via our shop DL Garage. The red one is mine. If I can get it back up and running it will be getting a bunch of look cool parts and some suspension upgrades. Hopefully this car doesn't make me want to sell my S14.

Nice find on the RX7s! I've been toying with the idea of picking one up. What's the build plan? You said look cool and suspension, what kit were you thinking?

Thanks, I've wanted one for quite awhile. Although I do think I may sell it, since I won't be getting much of an opportunity to work on it this year. I was going to do some sort of chrome wheels with some dish, and then maybe an m-sport kit with a roof wing. Was going to keep it kind of simple. I guess well see.

Holy crap, so much has been going on in the past while...havent had much of an opportunity to update this thing.
This car finally was picked up by its owner, will be coming back for some paint later this fall/winter. Made some progress on the 1JZ FC's motor, almost ready to mate it back up to the R154 and set it int the car. Replaced timing belt, water pump, multiple gaskets, new pulleys, and some modifications to get the twin turbo drains to work with the xcessive mounts. Owner decided he wanted to use a different FC shell, so I have to go pick that up still. So hopefully there will be far more progress by this weekend. For my Red FC, after putting some new premixed fuel in the tank, replaced the plugs, and fixed the incorrectly placed plug wires I was able to get fc that hasn't run since 1998 to run again. Although after about 6-10 minutes of running it wont start again. After about 3 days it will crank over again and fire up, but meets the same fate. Will be diving into fixing this after my s14 is back up and running. But I at least orderd all these block off plates/ deletes as to rule out other issues. As for my s14, I've still just been acquiring parts, will be redoing the fuel lines so that they run down the driver side, as well as re doing the brake lines to be cleaner and also to work with the ASD hydro. Will probably do a huge update for that stuff later this month. And last but not least, I picked up a new daily for the summer. A 95 LS400, black on black, with working AC, should make the hour drive to work pretty tolerable.

Progress on the 1jz FC
Installed front subframe spacers, and cleaned up the bay, cut up the trans tunnel to fit the shifter, modified the heater core so that it isn't directly behind the motor anymore, custom front core support to hold the modded sr20det radiator w/ altima fans (extremely tight fit on this car) and intercooler. Will start on the intercooler piping once that arrives, and wiring eventually.

Finally moved the car for the first time in more then half a year.
Wiring Harness all Stripped down, rewired, and ready to go back on Mind the Trans Mount, It was our temp one to hold everything in place, cleaned it up a lot before final install haha Shifter still sits a bit to far back, will attempt to remedy this, this winter. Wired up the gps speed sensor/dakota digital spped converter so that I have a working stock speedometer, as well as a dakota digital tach converter as well. And this was about the time we finally got to fire the car up. It ran but was having a misfire, we narrowed it down to a possible bad coil pack. Didnt have any to replace it with plus we needed to leave for Final Bout in the morning. I worked through the night installing all the interior/ finishing wiring. Only to realize that the alternator shit out. So we had to swap that Friday before leaving. Swapped the rear coil pack at the track and the car preformed perfect the rest of the weekend. Here are some photos from SquareD of it at SSC Another Photo of the DL Garage S-Chassis Suspension Arms I'll update with some better quality photos of the final product when I finally unload it off the trailer that it hasn't been off of since SSC.

Yeah I've seen that one, was thinking about getting in on it, but I'm gonna finish out the year with the GK Tech, then probably sell it this winter. It works awesome, but I just want a more OEM shifter location for my swap since I have retained most of my interior.
