What's C?

I do enjoy Steins;Gate and Deadman Wonderland though. The latter was pretty intense, I can't wait for the 2nd. I hear the Manga is good.

Nichijou is okay, it's kind of stupid funny to me. Something to kill the time though.

I think the only other ones I'm watching from this season are Hanasaku Iroha and We, Without Wings. The former is pretty good. Gonna give the latter another episode to decide if I like it or not.

And I just finished Katanagatari. Soooo good.

Did you watch the movies?

As for my most current list....

Star Driver: Kagayaki no Takuto
Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt
Puella Magi Madoka Magica (this one looks like it's a little girls Sailor Moon set-up, but watch it and it gets REALLY gory/evil)
Tiger and Bunny
Beelzebub
FMA+Brotherhood
FMP+Fumo+TSR
Eden of the East
Kore wa Zombie Desu ka?
Toaru Index/Railgun/2

I prefer car related animes as others don't peak my interest.

I've watched Initial D of course and Wangan Midnight as those were the main ones everyone ever talked about. Just recently I watched Capeta.

Are there any others that would fall in the same category?

Berserk. shits epic but kinda out there.

Ninja Scroll. Nothing more to say here. Watch it.

Vampire Hunter D and Vamp Hunter D Bloodlust. imo Bloodlust is way better than the original but still both worth a watch.

Appleseed.

Ghost in the Shell.

Not an anime but Casshern is anime inspired and a fucking trip to watch.

Casshern was an anime first actually. The movie I think you're talking about is a reboot kinda thing. First anime was way back in 73', and they've done a few more since then. Newest one I think was 2008, so it's still pretty current.

Kinda? It looks incredibly gay. But it's awesome. Dare I say, fabulous?

And, I love throwing on the Panty and Stocking soundtrack while driving. Especially "Juice". Great at stoplights.

dude, I've been into anime for a loooong time

I have the movie in one of my HDs
been meaning to make time to watch it
finally saw the series recently after I kept hearing about it
(didn't make an impression on me when it was being released)
was very good except for the time loop arc
that was annoying as hell

Denpa Onna - has potential
Yondemazu yo, Azazel-san - 2 eps out only but love it so far

Watched these two new series today:

AnoHana. It's actually titled something else With a much longer name but that's what I saw for alternate titles haha. Seems good. Kind of slice of life/tragic.

Blue exorcist also is pretty promising.

Both only have 1 episode right now

EVERYTIME I TRY TO GET OUT.... THEY JUST KEEP PULLING ME BACK IN!!!!

I'm trying to ween myself off of anime & manga so that I can stop watching it all together. I'm just watching Bleach & Naruto until they end and that will be it for me. I'm actively trying NOT to pick up any new shows... But if they keep re-releasing favorites like this, I'll never get away!

Gantz (Full Vol)
Original Full Metal Alchemist (full vol)
Akira
Blood the last Vampire
I lost most of my Initial D collection

Been watch Bleach online since it's in the 300's while it just hit 200 on Adult swin and FMA Brotherhood. Same as the original just more detailed

i used to partially watch ghost in the shell when i had cable

i got through Stage 1 of Initial D but kinda let it fall off after they made Takumi look like a girl in Stage 2

FMA, so good
I picked up Mobile Suit Gundam Wing after falling in love when i was a kid and after they stopped toonami

i thought FMA Brotherhood was a reboot with a different story??

^ Brotherhood is much more of a reboot. It follows the manga much more closely whereas the first did not. Way better IMO. I need to actually finish watching it.

Brotherhood, is a reboot of the story but the story is being told the way the original creater intended it to be told. More gore plus it branches off to explain more about each character in detail. It's much better then the first and the first is top 3 all time anime series so thats saying alot.

I simply cannot stress enough how good FMA Brotherhood is. Everybody needs that show in their life. Seriously.

Exactly. Thats why Naruto & Bleach are the only series I follow regularly. On occasion, I'll pick up something connected to a show that I'watched in the past, like Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail or Hellsing: Ultimate. I really wish they'd make a Samurai Champloo movie, but I know it wouldn't be the same without Nujabes music...

This thread could definently use some more Black Lagoon...
