Rack moved 1in forward and the welds you see on the cross-member for LCA mount points is because people bring messed up cores, where the hole is like slotted. So basically its fixing the mounting hole.

Cor setup on my car, painted and installed by me.

Latest pic, sway bar removed. Still gotta go do some testing and see if I like it.

Chuckles Knuckles have 5degree ackerman, quick steer, and drop the mounting point about 1inch?.
There is a new version coming soon with LCA mounting point moved down 1in also.
Also sway bar getting designed, for more wheel clearance.

Their new knuckles will feature 32mm of ball joint drop and about 6 degrees of ackerman at 60 degrees of steering angle. Their sway bar is almost done as well. It's 25.4mm solid bar.

Do you think 30mm is the limit?

I originally intended on 25mm raise but if i could get nearer 50mm it would be awesome.

This is something i have thought about doing for about 18months lol. i was considering cutting the chassis rails so that i could raise it alot!! but i think modding the frame only is a much better plan

If i could raise frame 50mm and run my 45mm dw knuckles, my rc would be +60mm ish

Well, you could weld the chassis side pickup points to the unibody and use steering offset rack spacers to space inner tie rods up to reduce bumpsteer.
The limiting factor is probably engine to body clearence, RB engines are quite low in height?
Cool thing about building cars for yourself is there are no rules to follow

Thank you for the information. Definitely something to purchase when my motor will be out. Do they have the cross members pre-made, or would I need to send mine in?

Motary, be carefull moving the front crossmember and not the tension rod chassis mount location. You will severly effect the anti-dive, which has effects on the rate of longitudinal weight transfer under both acceleration and braking!

Thanks for the heads up, I had actually forgotten anti-dive also affects wheel rate under acceleration

Megan Racing
How do you know they copied your description? Even more specifically, from this thread?

Did you read the roll center part in the first post, and the roll center description on their site? It's EXACTLY word for word.

I just called them and they are going to give me credit on their website, hahah.

thats great, they copied your description and their "roll center ball joints" don't even help.

Has anyone thought of making front knuckles similar to PSM, but have the ball joint stud integrated into it?

Then you would just run a 3/4 or 7/8 spherical bearing (depending on stud) with spacers in the FLCA. Was thinking a long, weldable bolt or machined piece welded up near the shock mount and further bracing down near the LCA pivot similar to how PSM modififies peoples knuckles. I imagine it would make a stronger assembly since the moment on the ball joint spindle would be spread out. I might make a set just to see how it would work.

I have some interesting S13 subframe and suspension parts I've been fabing that I'll post when I'm home from work later.

The Megan RCA ball joints don't have a longer shank than a factory ball joint? They look pretty long.

EDIT: The Megan RCA ball joints on PDM racing don't look the same as the ones on the Megan site.

So I just found out the other day that one of my steering rack boots broke. Bought some replacements and figured it might be a good time to upgrade the tie rods. Can anyone recommend a good set? Not looking into any megan or isis, I want something quality. Do PBM make any? Might as well replace the steering rack bushings while I'm at it as well, so should I get the energy suspension kit or the R*SR one?

Last question lol.
Recently installed an aluminum steering bushing and now my alignment was off. I took off the steering wheel and aligned it best as I could but its still not 100% straight. My steering column lock also doesn't lock in the same place as it use to either. How do I fix this and make it perfect again? Can an alignment shop fix it?? Read in another thread that I should take off tie rods and steering wheel and align it that way. TIA.

Sleeve you mean a buckle joining the rod end and inner tie rod, yes. not made yet. I guess they have to machine that and there waiting for jam nuts. The rod ends are self lucubrating chom-moly.
