Check your grounds. The injectors have constant power and the ecu grounds them out to make them fire. Make sure the grounds are good at the ecu

Thanks for the quick response. Is it a power or a ground to the battery? Also the nipple to the right of the IACV that is unplugged should I just cap it?

I'm looking for all the guys running ss braided ptfe an fuel line. Trying to decide how I want to route them on my s14, figured seeing how others did it would help me decide.
Little info, I need to run x3 -6 lines from my surge tank, mounted in the trunk. Big mike, two wires to the starter. Power, big cable to battery 12v/ signal, should be on your harness. I used that nipple on the plenum for my boost gauge. No reason you couldn't cap it off. Would you like to describe how you got ahold of the guy that modified your throttle body? I pm'd him here with no reply |

2JZGTE Swapped S-Chassis thread
Pm'd you his info - he's usually not on here too often I believe
I think ill use that port for a boost gauge as well. I have the plug on the harness to the starter. So just to clarify the large cable (not on the harness) goes to the battery (positive) correct?

What downpipe is "best"? Ive seen people link this one:
Supra JZA80 2jz 2JZGTE 1st Front Pipe Decat Frontpipe | eBay Which looks really short, and then the drift motion one: Welcome to Driftmotion! I was thinking just running one of these downpipes, and then fabbing my own crossover tube, and then connecting into isis 4 inch blast pipes... |

just dropped my 1j in. kinda confused about the mount brackets though. i had adjustment to play with on the drivers side, but the passneger side was all the way back. the engine looks pretty straight and everything bolted up fine. im just paranoid now looking at the motor. im using xcessive brackets all around and solid mounts. any body run into this similar situation? heres a quick pic too lol
also my intercooler coupler is so close to the rad there is no way it will work, anybody have a reputable palce to get the TRC plate removed and throttle body machined? not much space up here lolol

even if i trim it, its still not enough ... im trying to figure out why machining of the t-body is necessary after cutting it. ive been tossing around the idea of just taking the t.body to a band saw and cutting it off and leaving as much material as possible. anyone see a potential problem with this idea?

looking for some input... Im NOT retaining heat in my 1jzgte s14 (stock twins), so im assuming these two hoses need to be blocked off/ looped? (the second pic its the cut off hose behind the fuel inlet). im guessing i should've researched it before i dropped the engine in lol
and whatever this little sucker is, its broken. is it necessary for it to be intact for everything to operate as it should? or is it something that i can delete and just make a new vaccum line

Anyone have any issues with hitting Boost cut on the stock JDM ECU and Twins?
i've read you can just install a Boost Cut Defender, but these don't work on the JDM cars because of the MAP sensor. anyone have any experience? |

You won't be able to boost past 14psi unless you have a FCD/BCC (fuel cut defender/boost cut controller). You can order one of MVP BCC to bypass it. I went single (ebay t60) on stock fuel/ecu and made 372hp/3xxtq. Of course my injectors were maxxed out

"If you are installing this on a JDM Supra or other speed density based ECU which does NOT use a Mass Air Flow meter from the factory, then you will need some sort of piggyback fuel injector controller such as E-Manage, AEM FIC, or similar" so im trying to figure out if i can use a Boost cut defender or not on my JDM Aristo motor and stock ECU. |

Testing waters: might get rid of a complete r154 trans
Including Trans 1/2jz bell housing 3" shifter extension housing Beech performance short shifter R154 to s13 non abs drive shaft Spec flywheel, clutch and pressure plate 4 plate unsprung with about 6 events on it Clutch slave bought new xcessive trans mount There is nothing wrong with this transmission, shift perfect and ran red line mt90 the whole time. Going to swap a gsr gforce trans in it and will not need this. |

Is this the only way to boost past 14psi? I figured you could fool the pressure going into the MAP sensor, or maybe even unplug it? ( on VVTI 2jzgte ). Mine engine isn't hooked up yet or I'd tell you for sure.

anyone tried a different transmission setup then the bolt-on w58,r154 and v160?
I see a few kit for z33-34 and z32 but cant find feedback. R154 are starting to be really pricy, suprises me no one tried z32 and z33 transmission swap with success and a good write-up |
