More and more info on his shitty car is coming out. If it in fact passed tech like that, it doesn't reflect well on the event organizers. He has pictures from the 26th with no tie down so it's likely he forgot it just before the run like the claims. And pictures of his car show only 3 lugs per wheel.

the trunk bouncing on the wheel could have bent the floor and dislodged the battery, but judging by the rest of what's surfaced, you're probably right, no tie down.

If Final Bout let you run cars in missile car mode he would have been able to afford the other 8 lugnuts instead of spending money for that schweet yellow paint job. Final Bout separating men from boys. But i do think the tech inspection should have been up to par with the body panels matching inspection

How does one pass an inspection with only three lugs?

Center lug Minervas are on backorder from SSR and his pit crew was trying to shave time off so they only used three lug nuts. Obviously the chief engineer did not account for the lateral force of the battery shifting due to the gravitational pull of Neptune.

After this type of exposure I can only assume that he may not be invited back. I feel sorry for his team (but I just have this feeling that they may have already known he was a douche). I was surprised that he was allowed back on the track, but if he is allowed at any further events I will lose my hope in Final Bout.
