s13 1994 240sx Convertible Build.

Remaking this thread because I accidentally deleted my Photobucket account so here we are. Old thread; http://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=539207.

After searching for six long months I finally found an extremely clean Vert on eBay. 94's are considered rare so that;s a plus. Paid $3500 for it, great pruce considering the shit I see on Zilvia/CL for the similar amount. Gonna use as much as CS parts as I can get my hands on.

First day I got it I stared working on the pillar removal. This is temporary, gonna get coupe/hatch doors later on because the door panels sit like shit and sag light crazy because if all the extra weight.

As you can see the Vert door is identical to the hatch/coupe once you cut off the bracing. I was using a DeWalt grinder and it took me about 30 mins for each door. This was the first time I used an angle grinder as well so you can imagine how easy it is.

Sprayed the grille's and swapped the OEM signal's with Circuit Sports.

Before;

After:

Got my hands on a rare Silvia trunk liner and installed an led board in the trunk light.

Circuit Sports Tail Lights

Sprayed the windshield cowl.

Cowl back on.

After searching for a good six months for OEM mudflaps, I finally found them.

Swapped the stock mirror's for Maxima mirror's, perfect for those asshole with high beams on.

Interior shot.

Got these PBM's for $600 from a member on here. Great condition, love how they feel on the car.

For the 5 Speed swap I got a brand new flywheel, clutch, hard line, master cylinder, slave cylinder, new Nismo knob, NOS 240sx leather boot and pedal.

I forget how much I paid, but I remember I saved a lot after doing the match. Some dude needed the money quick so he let it go for a great price.

Freshly rebuilt calipers and painted calipers. New front pads, new rotors all around, SS lines all around, new ZX cylinder.

I got to read through your older thread before photobucket crapped out on you. Looks great man. That attention to detail is what makes it stand apart.

Bought some clean ass S15 visors.

Cut the Vert one to size.

Ghetto fabbed a sleeve.

Got some rare Ichikoh fog lights, apparently these are a factory option for S13's in JDM land.

Took them apart for cleaning and painting.

Painted them flat black.

On the car, still need to get them wired.
