Listen to your friends. 10" -38 does not fit under S14 stock metal. With your ride height now, the wheels in the rear will poke out even if you put in more neg camber. Fronts will be fine.
I'm suggesting against it and just getting a set of Gramlights. No sense in trying to make these fit unless you're looking to fit overs on your car. |

Ninja Edit: Did a quick search, those are possible offset ranges. So for 18x9, you can get as low as -25 or as high as +76. Not necessarily you have to get -25. |

@Flip i'm looking to stay in a 17 for now, mainly because I already have a spare set of brand new tires(if they don't sell) waiting to go on when I trash these. What is everyone's recommended wheel offset for the Zenki S14 chassis? I can take closer pictures of the pull if wanted. As you can see it has 245's in the rear and they are sitting in there nicely with stock suspension arms and coilovers. I do intend on going all fully adjustable suspension arms. |

So I've got a set of rays kreuzter victrix 18x11/12 -1/-2 for my LS400. Thinking about 225/35-40 front and 235/35-40 in the rear, any suggestions on brands and sizing? It will be static, rolled, slight pull, and a daily/weekend slide machine with zero fucks available.

My recommendation, 17x9.5 +12 with 225/45-17, then 17x10 +18 in the rear with 245/40-17 or even 255/40-17 if you do more pull or camber. Quote:

Rear fenders already have a significant pull and i have 245's back there now. Going to be a daily with some (hopefully) weekend slide duty. Will i need spacers to clear coilovers or anything with those offsets? Thanks again for all the advice! |

Nopes, no spacers at all. But to help you further since the fenders are touched, post up a picture of your car with the wheels, tires and spacer specs. That I way i can use that as reference for figuring the optimal wheel sizing for your car.

I'm not running any spacers in the back. Having to run(i wanna say 20mm cause i can't remember for sure) up front. Wheels are 17x9.5 +30 all around. Hopefully you can make out the space I have in the rear with the pull between the fender and the wheel in the pic below I will take better pics tomorrow and post up some diff angles. Thanks again! |

Wheel Fitment Question Thread
Looking into a set of Varrstoen 221's. Was originally going to go with 18x9.5 +12 and 18x10.5 +15. However, Aspec is offering a set at a good price in the color I want from the factory, stated to be for the S14.
The set is 18x9.5 and 18x10.5, both +22. Just wondering if they'll fit at that offset on my S14. I have stock fenders, though will obviously roll. I have Megan coilovers and Z32 brakes. Also, was thinking I'd do 225/40/18 in the front and 245/40/18 in the rear. Last edited by YamaMX; 04-30-2013 at 11:07 PM.. |

^+2....go with 255/35 in the rear and you will be fine with some camber. Sold some Varr ES111 to a member here and the wheel/tire size and combo looked great. FYI I went with 225/40 front and they fit well under fenders with a roll and some camber. You may need a spacer up front depending on a few things but the back will fit nicely.

Finally pulled the trigger, bought some 17x9 +25 rims. I was thinking of running either 245/40 or a 225/45. Still using struts, lowered on springs, and I'm going to roll, but would rather not pull. Car is an s13 and I do have adjustable rear camber, not so much front.

Either one...I'd go 225/45 up front and 245/40 in the rear. If camber is an issue up front, slot the upper strut mount hole to give you more or less camber.

17x9? I'd go 235/40 so that the wheel+tire diameter is the same as OEM, thus making your speedometer read true.
Tire size calculator Stock tire size is 195/60/15 for S13. edit: 245/40 is also acceptable as Ray has mentioned.

Killer, I thought there were two stock tires sizes (at least according to discount tire). My car currently has 205/60/15s on it it actually reads FASTER than it should, leading me to believe it's smaller than stock, or it was like that from the factory to make people drive slower. As far as I know, my diff is stock.
Now that difference is neglibale (off by 5mph at 80mph according to my gps). I was thinking the tire diameter should be 24.7in, which is the same as what I have now/same as my 280zx stock tire size. The 225/45 is just a tab bit larger than stock at 24.95in which may correct it, but honestly I'm probably going to try the 245/40 all around. I have a 235/45 on my zx on a 17x9 that I'll test fit first once I have everything ready for 5 lug. If that clears then the 245/40 should clear no problem. |

Go +18 ish all around and pull the rear fenders. If you dont feel like going crazy on the rear fenders, kick it down to +20 to +25 and plan on going 0 camber in the rear.

I've tried searching on my phone but its not working.
Is 17x9.5 too wide for the front wheels? Would 9" be fine? The offset is +12. Would I have to roll or pull fenders with either? I have stock suspension now but will be getting coilovers soon. Also anyone know any good brands for hub eccentric rings? |

Sup wheel dudes
I'm trying to figure out the best way to fit these (rear only front fit well)wheels. They are weds kranze cerberus in 18x10+13. They currently have 225/40 tires. Suspension wise I have PBM coils, traction rods & rucas.
I took a couple pics so you can get an idea of what I'll need to do. How much camber will I need? How much does it look like I currently have? How much a roll and or pull? Does anybody have a picture of the same size wheels? Sorry for the pic overload and thank you for your help in advance.

Because I like the idea of preserving a two tone, I won't help you, lol jk.
It'll work but you will need to pull your fenders to go with a driveable fitment. Please do the pull the RIGHT way and don't rush it. You will get lasagna fenders and on a coupe that looks absolutely disgusting. Like so: Truth is 10" in the S13 rear with a low ass offset simply doesn't go together well like 9-9.5" with decent offsets do. If it were me, I'd find a way to shave down the back to raise the offset to +15 or +18 since it's easier to work with. Anyway, it looks like you're running around 1,75-2* of negative camber. You'll need around neg. 3-3.5* in the rear with the pull and you should be straight. |

Theres a local guy around here that goes by "rolled by p" I was thinking of letting him do it. I also work at a body shop so I'm not too worried about a little damage. I plan to repaint the car within the next couple months.

Im not really sure which tire size im gonna go for. 315/35-17 - Too meaty? 305/35-17 - Does it exist? 295/35-17 - Have to buy from US (live in Norway) 285/35-17 - Does it exist? 275/35-17 - Too much stretch?
