Nothing too major. All scheduled oil changes along with oil filters have been done. Air filter changed as well. Valves done by previous owner at 25k. Bike sounds and runs healthy. Nothing negative I can pull honesty from the motor.

i bought an 05 750 similar mileage, similar price.... from a towing company that bought it from police auction... so there was NO history on the bike at all.
had to keep on the throttle just a tad til she got to 130 F or she would die. this turned out to be because it was in desperate need of a valve job. which OP here has already taken care of. after that, she was all good til i got run over by an 18 wheeler. long story short, good bike, good price

Yeah the bike starts up and idles high for about 5 seconds then goes to normal. No issues like your stating or at all to be honest. Bike is mechanically in great shape. Im glad to hear you okay though man. Cagers can cause crazy accidents but an 18 wheeler.....too crazy man. thanks. |
