Semi Peripheral EFR9174 E85 @17psi Dyno #ThisistheWolf

Before people Blast me for not cranking up the boost. I'm done breaking transmissions....and so I've asked Abel to bring power and Tq down. This lets me drive the car harder and worry about the next clipping point or following a driver rather than worrying about slipping the clutch extra every time I shift.

Engine Specs:

FR Performance Built 13B REW
Semi Peripheral Port/Street Port
Non-Balanced but weight Matched
PTS 2mm 2 piece seals
Glease Man Billet Series Manifold
Dual EGT's (not running)
EMAP (Running) All the Above was at 8lbs of Back Pressure:icon_tup:
Dual Turbosmart Comp gate 40's off turbine Housing
17Lb Springs
Not running EBC Yet

ECU: Adaptronic Modular PnP

Fueling:

Custom Set up:

CJ-M Dual Pump Hanger with Walbro E85 Lift Pump
Radium Dual Bosch External Surge Set up W/2 Fuel Filters
All AN-8 Lines
(6) Injector Dynamics ID1700X
Full Function Engineering Primary Rail W/(4) Secondary Injectors
Running 3 stages of Injector

If anyone is interested in the Dyno Logs... I can send em no prob:icon_tup:

Response is beautiful and easily the best I've ever felt on an FD. Andy Wyatt came and set up the new ECU himself. And Abel Ibarra took over the Full Boost Maps!!

car drives like a dream.. even at the slightest bit of throttle. No issues driving at 1400RPM..and I'll try and get some video of it asap.

I'll probably be going back to the 8374 to gain the bit of low end we had before.. Tune for what you need... not for all out power :icon_tup:

Why not invest a little in a stronger transmission? Considering the rest of the build it seems like that's all it really needs now. It's not THAT expensive all things considered lol.

Now we just need to see shaft speed in that log. I am surprised EMAP is that low!

Cool build, I'm looking to go efr soon, why did you choose the 9174 (or even the 8374) if you're looking for 500ish? Why not a 7064/7163?

Well... I'm at a constant battle with myself on this. I despise dog box's....and I want a sequential. But to do it right....a sequential will cost me right around 12500...without clutch. For a Dog box...there are really about 2 categories... Side shift and Center shift... I didn't want to cut up my transmission Tunnel for the side Shift...but it's 3K more for a Center shift. ...ending up right around 7K for the swap for a Center Shift.... so then I'm torn...because it's like... If i spend 7K...I might as well spend 12K and go sequential.. Get my drift? I'll probably end up with a side shift set up. But anything could happen in the next couple months!

I know! i forgot to drill the sensor port in the compressor housing...otherwise It would've been there I'll make sure it's hooked up on the next session when we get back on the 8374

Disregard my Turbo Choice... Why?...because I'm rotary...and we generate a whole lot more exhaust gas than our piston counterparts. Rule of thumb is....Take whatever a turbocharger is rated at... and for a 2 rotor...13B.. Divide it by 1.3. So if a turbo is rated for 800 WHP....it'll do 615. Cool? Loud? Flames? YES!!....but less efficient haha. Stick with what everyone is using on 6 cyl or 4 cyl on this forum....just with an EFR and you'll be very impressed and never look back!!!
