Got KADE, altimafans, water temp gauge?
I'm trying to find out what engine temps anyone else with this set up is running. I have the fans wired on high connected to the ac condenser plug.
lately it's been hot here around 100 temps will be higher, and the engine water temp has gone up.210f with traffic, usually its been 180-195 180f highway, The hottest it got with the clutch fan was 195f. are these normal temps for the kade with Altima fans? anyone got some input on their engine temps? (kade operating temps are 160-190) |

When I was driving around out here in Texas in early Summer (90-95*) my car would sit between 175 and 185 (what my fans are switched to run at), cruising it would get up to 210 which confused the shit out of me.. Anyways that was with a stock ka, stock rad and altima fans. I put a koyo in it for the drive back to California and drove around 110* heat with a/c blasting going 80 down the freeway at 170* water temp. Now I have an sr with an ebay radiator and my temps stay around 180...

Well driving around today in 87f weather temps are normal 180f.
Engine warms up to 195 in traffic but cools down when moving. fans not on. Can the Altima fans be wired to pull or push depending on polarity? Will connecting the ground cables together cause them to run at a medium speed? yellow and black together from both fans. Last edited by soryu; 08-30-2013 at 05:25 PM.. Reason: fan connections |
