FS/FT Supercharged BMW 540i (~$40k invested, only 26k miles)
For a while i stopped trying to sell it since i was enjoying daily driving her sooooo much.
But im too paranoid about driving her everyday, so as much as i hate to do it i think its time to try to sell her again. Anyway....... Would love to get some trade plus cash offers.. Might do a straight trade offer for the right car. Not sure if im looking to sell for cash (since this economy is soo bad).... but if you are interested, let me know and we can work something out. I can be reached by email: or call me : (619)934-0902 Ok, on to the car heres a quick breakdown on it: 1997 BMW 540i. CLEAN title, pink in hand, ready to go. Supercharged 4.4L V8. five-speed A5S 560Z automatic transmission. Body: 121,000 miles. Drivetrain: 26,000 miles (it was fully rebuilt, also transmission) *A 1997 was chosen for this build due to the fact that they had the best motors. Pre-Vanos FTW. *Parts all add up to about $40,000 not including labor. Engine has a VF engineering vortech supercharging kit. Currently running at 7psi, which is a very safe tune.It is good for 410 horsies at the crank. Car can easily be (and actually should be) running at 9 psi, but since there is no need for the extra power I haven't upped the boost. But this can easily be done by new owner if you wish to do so. Engine was FULLY rebuilt, and i mean FULLY. top and bottom. Done by a very prestigious shop in SoCal. Car was boosted about 20,000 miles ago. Now, the exterior: EVERYTHING is AC Schnitzer, even the mirrors. All legit. For those who aren't too familiar with the euro scene, These effin parts are way expensive. Front bumper is OEM M5, with special brake inlets built in, and a lil custom "ram air" inlet made by the shop. VERY aggressive look, and all done EXTREMELY clean. Interior: Wood all swapped to aluminium. E-Brake AC Schnitzer. Ice: Alpine media receiver. Sub woofer/EQ controls on roof. Custom built fiberglass sound system with one sub woofer in the trunk. All component speakers have also been upgraded. Suspension: car is sitting on AC Schnitzer springs. Exhaust: AC Schnitzer exhaust. Some very special cats that allow car to perform beautifully while maintaining legality in california. (goddamn cat set up ran almost 2k) Rims: 19 inch AC Schnitzer Type II painted black. Brakes: Brembo Big Brake kit. *Now, im pretty sure theres alot of stuff im forgetting. All in all there is over $40,000 in parts that went into this build. And god knows how many hours of work. So what am i looking to get? In all honesty I am not really looking to sell for cash, but if you really wanna buy it PM me an offer. More than anything i want a nice built subbie, BUT I wil entertain other offers, also cars+cash will be considered. Let me know what you have. No hurry to sell, I love my car but if the right offer comes along ill take it. NOW FOR SOME PICTURES (ill try to get some more, better pictures but i lost the cable to my camera so for now these will have to do): One of the many magazine features on it (this is when it still had the ACS front bumper): One Sexy ass picture (how it sits now, with M5 bumper): Few ass shots: Only interior pic i could find (but seats and everything else is in MINT condition): Custom built trunk system: Few group shots (as you can see mine is the sexiest):
Modified by gusisboosted at 5:41 PM 10/19/2010 Last edited by gusisboosted; 12-21-2010 at 10:57 AM.. |

But the intent of this car for it to be a cruiser. And you cant beat the 22 mpg it gets with that 5 speed auto trans. And btw i LOVE your Type R would have loved to work something out with you , Even thought u already got an e39 you should consider it bro. You can't ever have too many E39s You sir are correct. Thank you for understanding the basics of ballergistics Quote:
Sadly people dont appreciate the rarity and price and everything that goes into this build. Naaaaah I realized my car was worth quite a bit more and well it just wasnt A deal i wanted to chase after any further. BTW i cant believe you still havent sold your 300zx, that thing is AMAZING |

Currently have a few serious offers on the table, but those deals won't be finalized for maybe a week or so...
So everyone is still welcome to make offers. Thanks, Gus
