I run a tr6060 in my ls3 swapped s15 and I actually prefer where the shifter sits the way it is. Only had to notch 2 Inches to fit perfect. The t56 is shit. Took me 35 minutes to make it fit.

I agree, I do not like the T56 even my fresh rebuilt one was super notchy. If i had more tools at home that would surely be a project I would take on but having moved to a new home I literally have the most basic tools so I feel rather useless at the moment lol. I really dont like paying other people for work that I can do myself but without the right tools I am SOL. How much massaging did it take to get the trans into the tunnel if you dont mind?

Trimmed a couple ears off the trans. About and inch and a half up and 4 inches in. Massaged the area where the trans cooler fitting is on the right upper side.

Doesnt sound too terrible of a mod with the right tools. I do miss having access to my uncles shops when things like this are needed. Must be a blast in an S15 with LS3.

Yeah it's a beast. The other part to that trans choice is the driveshaft. Driveshaft shop made mine. I have a winters quick change out back as well.

I always use DriveShaft Shop here in the states. Have always had a good experience with the products that I have purchased off of them.

New price which is OBO....found the setup I want to run. Need to sell this to fund the new configuration. Again, feel free to call RPM to confirm that the upgrades were done to a Level 6.

Have you listed it on any camaro pages? Shouldn't have a problem getting what you want for it.

Bump it up. Found out TDP here in Texas can convert these into direct drop (fbody) style for a decent price. If you decided to go that route you would still be saving a significant amount of cash as compared to having this same work completed new.

I'm super surprised I had no issues getting my t56 to fit and I love how they feel compared to most 6 spd cars i have driven but i will say a tr6060 is the tits but if I do anymore ls swaps in the future I'm going to go with a cd009 because when of the cost if my t56 does grenade I'm going to cry trying to find a new one and having to drop the cash for it. Amsoil Don't let me down

Haha yeah the T56 is a bit smaller frame than this so easier to install. The TR6060 is light years ahead of any T56 I have driven...I hate all of them haha. If this doesnt sell I already have a backup plan to send this to TDP and keep it for another project I have in my sight. I like the CD009 for certain things but for my use I am not a huge fan. They are much more readily available though for sure.
