Ka to sr bellhousing swap issues

I'm swapping my sr bellhousing on an s14 ka trans and I'm running into an issue with 5th gear and reverse. 1st through 4th gear feels fine, but in 5th and reverse it is very hard to turn the input shaft compared to the other gears and the other ka transmission I have. It did not feel like this before the swap, so I'm wondering if it's and easy fix or something specific I should be looking at.

Just to clarify: 5th and reverse still engage, but there is quite a bit of resistance. I do not hear or feel anything grinding/binding while turning the input shaft though.

Thanks in advance.

I just recently purchased a non running sr-swapped s13 hatch and i removed the engine/trans from the car to inspect everything and boy am I glad i did.... found 5th gear shift fork cracked and a portion of it broken off and chunks of it rolling around in the tranny, luckily it didnt fuck anything else up....

so on a side note...who knows where to get a 5th gear/reverse shift select fork????
