REV9 any good?

Anyone have any experience with REV9? I searched and couldn't find anything
I'm looking for a t3 manifold that won't break the bank

this is what I'm looking at:

I don't know on KA but based on the pics those 90 elbows usually are pretty thick.
The flange look at least 1/2", thick...
Worst it can happen is that you need to weld some spots here and there.

I'm sorry so are you saying the elbows on the rev9 or most ka-t manifolds are usually pretty thick?

I assume the same can be said about the cxracing manifolds? (what roninwon said about saving for a better one) http://www.cxracing.com/mm5/merchant...=Engine_KA24DE

Sort of;
I had to buy some rods and pipes in a metal shop some time ago, that metal shop sells elbows just like the ones on the rev9 look like, for ornamental, reinforce etc.
They were pretty thick compared to regular header pipes. I'm not stating or confirming rev9 or CXRacing are using those, but they look like cast pipes instead of
mandrel bent pipes. The ones I held were probably 1/8" thick or shy to it, Not bad compared to the chinese ones.. paper thin.

Edit: I guess the main issue will be *fitment and reviews.

lol the crudely photoshopped picture didn't do it much good at first glance, but the more I read about treadstone the more it seems like a decent option.. still have to do more research about fitment tho

No... the worst that can happen is that manifold melts your master cylinder due to shit placement and burns your car to the ground.

$700 isn't bad for a manifold that's $450 in material cost plus labor...

A cheap manifold isn't cheap after repairing it 3 times, if you can find a welder desperate enough to accept the price gouging price you'd pitch him since you seem to not want to spend money.

Take it from my experience cheap parts are just that, cheap. You'll go into debt trying to make a reliable build from cheap parts and desperately wish you would've spent a few bucks and not had any issues.

What about when your doc race cracks (which it will) then you're the one way more in the hole

If we offer one and full race does there no reason that they shouldn't. Ours isn't advertised so it might be the same deal
