jl crossovers to amp for jl rear speakers and tweeters

I have jl speakers and tweeters with jl crossovers with amp the guy before me kinda hacked it but it should be set up for this. The crossovers say go from them to the output of the amp however connecter from the crossovers are 16 gauge wires to the amp which is the circle connection u push in guess called amp wires not really sure I blew the audio fuse under the hood so I figured it was backwards why are the connections to the amp go from one type to the other

now im tripping the main ign. 30 amp fuse under the hood wtf

Which amp do you have? model!
Have you tried hooking the amp up without the speaker wires, to see if you still blow fuses.

Fixed the amp had my turbo timer disconnected and it shorted.. however wiring these speakers and crossovers are fucking me.. front only worked now nothing does the dude chopped the rear pigtail going into the factory amp and now the front don't work I was gonna just use no crossover now nothing works do u have to use the crossover with the jl speakers.. I have a jl headunit and the rear speakers are wired in.. I saw a plug on the Internet that people use for the rear speakers and tweeters which I have. But I just hooked up the speakers to factory not sure I'm gonna post with pictures and diagram everything
