Post s13 ka 5 speed conversion help

I need help with my cross member, I know on I believe is an s13 transmission it doesn't have the cas sensor hole but I'm having a lot of trouble using the auto cross member as a temp to use till I get my manual cross member any suggestions on how to get it to set right or if there is a way to use the auto I've heard of flipping it and cutting it can somebody explain?
