s14 240 wont start please help!!!

i have a 95 240. and the starter went out about a week ago so ive been push starting it, now it wont start! i thought it was a fuel problem because my fuel gauge is broken but i put in a couple gallons and still no spark, i can smell the fuel so its gettin to the engine. it sounds like it wants to start but im not getting any spark. this all happend after my car over heated because of my radiator hose popping off=/ im hoping that it might just be the starter fuses (30amp, 70amp) but i just dont know im bout ready to give up and sell her, please guys give me something i miss driving my baby.

How do you know its not getting spark? How exactly did you check for this? Did you check the compression to make sure you didnt blow the engine?

Have you checked to make sure it's not flooded?

if you are about to give up. then its for best sell it now. these cars are getting old and in the long run you will still some wear and tear issues.

you probably flooded the engine while trying to start. pull the spark plugs and let the fuel evaporate then try it again
