Why were you driving pulled over?

Get a new(er) longblock, IMO... RB20s are definitely not worth rebuilding (also IMO).

While you've got the chance, upgrade to an RB25.

why would you do that? RB20's are badass. high reving 6 cylinder, yes please. probably just spun a bearing. tear it down, take it to a machine shop to have them check it out. turn the crank if they give the go ahead, do a fresh rebuild oem or build it. oil pump, water pump, etc

might be hydrolocked. if you blew the HG turned it off and the cylinder(s) could have filled with coolant.

Or you just ran it with no oil lol.

just an idea

Hahahahhahahahahhahahahahhaha
No you sit are the genius.

I did a lil more looking up and thinking.
Its going to be easier for me to (re)build it, i wont have to hunt an engine and wont have to ship it either. When i rebuilt it i want to make it aggresive, if thats the word. Wanting to get forged pistons (would like cp), tomei 270s port n polish the head+springs n shit. But thats just what i want, well see what happens.

Thank you all for input, except robotic nissan.... you no do that!

so your car shut off and oil was low so you are going to build another engine? maybe you should actually diagnose wtf it is first, that's a good idea.

Put the car in netural and take the spark plugs out. Get a wrench on the crank pulley and spin the motor. You could have a broken timing belt if you didn't change it when you swapped the motor in.
