Ordered a rack, installed it, a week later it was leaking where the tierods connect into it Return is impossibe cause they never respond to calls or emails. Keep your cores...they will not refund that either. Mine worked fine...just rusty and they never refunded me a dime. I was lucky enough to have placed the order w/ my credit card so I disputed it and they removed the charges. Don't believe everything you read on the internet. They were recommended by numerous ppl on the forums. Learn from my mistakes

I think your opinion is pretty biased based on your anger.
My experience: Ordered on a Monday (AM) with credit card, immediately received confirmation email. Tuesday afternoon the rack arrived, very well packed with all new hardware and boots. Wednesday AM I received an email with all tracking info, even though I had already received it. I then noticed there was no return slip so I called them. Answered on the first ring, I explained the need for the slip and was quickly informed that they ship it out separately. Return slip showed the next day. After sending the core in, I called once again to make sure they had received it. Again, answered on first ring, they confirmed receipt. Check showed for core charge two days later. Deposited it with no issue. Overall I'm overwhelmed by how good their service is, I've never dealt with anyone this fast or precise, and both times I called they were very polite. And the rack is still fine, it has one small scuff from install that's beginning to corrode, but that was my fault. No other problems.

Now I'm left w/ their rack which may or may not be a good thing. At least it looks better than my old one. The funny thing is that nothing was wrong w/ my old one. I just figured I change it while the motor was out. Now I'm either gonna have to repair or replace this one. It's leaking from where the tie rods connect it...can that even be fixed? I'm assuming it's missing a seal but it's gonna be such a pain in the ass to put it back in w/ the motor all ready in...crap.

I had a rough time as well. It took 3 weeks before I received a rack, though i did get email confirmation once it was shipped (belatedly).
Their phone number is absolutely retarded, no one picks up, no one returns your messages; even their email contact form doesn't work. I managed to get someone by calling the number on the UPS return label I purchased. Go to www.qfirst.com, that is the parent company. If someone picks up there, they should be able to answer your Steeringrack.com questions. I sent my rack in last Wednesday, I will call in a couple days to ensure they received it and are sending me a core refund. I'm on the west coast and it was thanksgiving, so I doubt they've gotten anything. |

Why don't you read the TITLE of this forum, as well as the STICKIES before trying to use this forum for anything other than what it's intended. i.e. Don't ask questions in a REVIEWS forum. Didnt' think it took a rocket scientist to figure that out. -Jeff
