Beware of knock artist

I recently posted some pictures of knuckles, crossmember mods, and axle spacers in the fabrication thread. Soon after I started receiving messages from a member with the user name amyfang. This person was from China and was wanting all sorts of information about my brothers knuckles.
This person said she was contacted by a customer in Taiwan that sent this picture to her, and where she found it. I'm sorry but my brother did way to much R&D to get his knuckles where they are.

As you can see here.

To whom it may concern, watch out for knock off makers. We don't need someone to start making cheap parts that your safety relies on.

why are you worrying? so they make a copy, and the re-tard that doesn't buy from a reputable shop will drift their car into a wall.

Sounds like good karma to me...eh?

Who says the quality is gonna be bad????

Almost everything you have is from China, including a lot of the parts on your car and your Nikes.
And I would bet a lot of factory parts are made/and/or assembled in China.
Even Iphones and I pads have some Chinese parts in them.

The Op isnt complaining about China making things cheap or low quality.
He doesnt want his work stolen.

Seems like they would just order a set of Powered by Max from San Diego anyways.
Isnt everyones garage knuckles just a knock off of that anyways??

Actually the whole reason for these knuckle being made to begins with was because of the quality of anther companies knuckles was not up to par. So that why you do it your self. You make sure your akerman is actually correct and give yourself better bump steer correction.

And the quality is bad in a lot of aspects. But its usually things that are mechanically involved from what I witnessed. Heck, I was talking to a machinist yesterday that thats dissapointed because these days you have to get your steel from asia, and your square tubes are not square anymore.

I seen plenty of stuff from China that works and doesn't work. But I'm looking out for the guy that does make there own parts, the guys that put in the R&D.

That must be why my iPhone is constantly glitching and my nikes fall apart.

Ill "steer" clear of any major suspension parts made in China, thank you.

im sure if iphones always glitch and nikes always fall apart then they wouldnt sell for as much as ppl buy them for. you cant knock two major companies like apple and nike without some sort of reasoning.

Don't get me wrong, I love my iPhone.

Often times when I go to reply to a text the keyboard will fail to come up, I will exit out and try it again more often then not it still won't work. It will also randomly close out of an app, with no warning. I have taken it to several At&t stores and they tell me the exact same thing, it's common and there's nothing they can do about it. (my buddy has the 3G it's even worse: fails to load web, stalls, etc)

The iPhone is merely constructed out of a few dollars of plastic and metal, and constructed in China because its cheaper. Apple makes a ridiculous sum off on this product, they don't care if it glitches

Basically what I'm saying is if apple constructed the iPhone without the thinking of nothing but profit, it might be a little better. And this goes for all manfacturers

Oh, and I deleted all my screenshots of glitches. I'll post one up in a few if you're really that interested

Ranting about Chinese knockoffs is not Tech Talk. This discussion also has talk of commercial sales so it will end.
