the best thing about a ka-t in my opinion is the fact that you stay with the stock motor so if anything happens with the police where you have to have your car in stock form you only have to swap parts instead of doing a whole engine swap with wiring and stuff, a lot of work. Being in CA this is a big plus.
the ka has an iron block, pretty strong internals that can handle over 300 hp, oil squirters to keep the pistons cools and a shim and bucket valve train which makes the cylinder head pretty indestructable. Parts are really cheap and readily available as well since every 240sx came with the engine and all nissan dealerships and most auto parts stores carry just about all the parts you need. Only drawbacks are the small ports on the cylinder head, and the cast internals that are not as strong as you want them to be but that can be changed if you do a full rebuild w/ forged internals, lower compression forged pistons and a full port and polish on the head..a lot of money =/
I'd say for now just piece together a kit, you can be boosted for 2K no problem

nothing new man just half way done just training and see nothing but imports everywhere that i want i may loook into how much to buy car and send back but it not going to happen but i look for parts to put on my car i ether turbo or put suspension for sure or i just buy supra wat u think i wish this is if i have extra cash u know
was up i in thialand not many cool cars but nice view and people are nice and food good but i tain in jungle for couple days night will suck also out there dude its freakin humid and hot. hows life treating you
