SR SR20det Bad Sleeve job??

Hey guys just wanted your opinions, i got my block back from the machine shop and had darton sleeves installed, well the number 3 sleeve has piece of the block (waterjacket) missing where it hugs the lip of the sleeve at the top, i can see the lip of the sleeve in the water jacket now it shows about 1/4-1/2inch i would say, can i use some JB Weld and seal the water jacket from the sleeve? or take it back and have them do a magical repair job?? or is the block done??

Are you saying the outer face of the sleeve is visible from inside the water channel? I.e. there's no block material between the sleeve and the channel?

yes exactly frank jaeger there is no block material between the sleeve and the water channel. I would post pics but I am deployed currently and don't have the block torn apart, its exactly as you described though so is the block ruined or can I repair that??
