Wink Sr20det issue feels like a fuel cut ...

I'm having an issue with my sr and it like hitting the fuel cut...
Wide open throttle it's gonna go all the way to 7k rpm after hitting the cut off (7200ish) with my foot still all the way down the rpm goes back down to 2k rpm ...I've tried this with the TPS plugged and Unplugged it's the same issue. Have you ever encountered something similar it was fine before the engine rebuild I also added cams ...this happens parked and while driving .. While driving its always 5200rpm just cuts out hard ... Maybe a faulty knock sensor ?

Tuned for

S15 injector
Altima MAF
T28

All I added was 264 BC's to the mix ...

Yes. It's probably ignition related. Unless your tach is off by a couple hundred rpms and then you're just hitting the standard fuel cut rev limit on the motor.

If it's ignition I would start with lose coil pack harness ground and then go from there.
