Ka24E cutout
i have an 89 hatch Ka24E and when i get between 3500-4000 rpm's my car cuts out completely until i push in the clutch and let rpm's pass 3k what can it be??? someone help please getting tired of not knowing

Check you MAF voltage. It should be above 1V at idle. If not, the ECU assumes the MAF is unreliable, uses the TPS and RPM to calculate injector pulse width, and sets a 3000rpm rev limit. Check the ECU for codes also.
