help me choose some tires!!!!

ok these wheels im almost positive im getting (awesome price) are 16x7 front and 16x8 rear, please suggest some tire sizes to get...
i was thinking 205/50 and 225/50, i want to have good cornering, my suspension is KYB AGX w/ RSR race springs... the reason i put 50sidewall is because i dont want the gross look w/ thin tires and not big wheels.. anyway i just want to have some good traction and awesome cornering, would 225 in the rear be adequate?

Sorry, but Kumho's 712 suck hands down... I really don't like them.

hey if your going with a set of the kuhmo go to www.edgeracing.com. i bought 4 toyo proxes 4's 225/45/17 there for 415 shipped and thats about $15/tires/ cheap than everywhere else, they have great prices and a lot of sales. i just calculated up a set of tires for you. 2 Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712s 215/50/16 and 2 Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712s 225/50/16s shipeed to 37401 or anywhere in your area for $335.06 i put on there 251/50/16 because they are just a little wider and still fit great. hope i helped

im not looking for "jdm" look, ive just seen so many setup's like those sizes, and i assumed that they would have great handling...
and i can get 4 Kuhmo ecsta 712 for $318.56 shipped...

and halo what other brand would you reccomend for that price range?

yeah i was just kidding around. the 225's fit nice on 8" wide wheels. I run that up front on my car for daily driving.

Good performance tires:
Falken Azenis
Khumo MX
Yokohama ES100

damnit... well halo what exactly would be the difference in the two setups? i would think the wider tire, although giving more traction) will roll more on that size... am i right?

it's a preference thing i guess...

but seriously, wider would offer better traction and the wheels are wide enough to take these sizes. It would look better, offer better traction... But that my opinion only, some other people might differ..
