why would u need to remove it for smog?

because it deletes the oem s14 cat thats right after the oem headers idk if its the same on s13,

On OBD2 S14's there is like a pre cat and with this header it eliminates it so most likely it will throw a CEL. On S13's we only have one cat that connects to the header. That is most likely the reason why he switched back to his stock exhaust setup.

Either way the header has been SOLD so please close the thread.
