So we just got my buddy's freshly rebuilt redtop running for the first time. I forgot to put the little t shaped fitting that goes into the turbo side of the valve cover on, and I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but the car was blowing a bit of smoke. It wasn't oil-burning smoke though, it was more gray than anything.

Is this normal?

It will smoke for a little bit til the rings seat(shouldnt be alot though), dont be to hard on the motor, but dont bo overly nice to it also, just drive it normal for 500-1000 miles.
