just curious, what is included in your rebuild? i ask because all the bearings and synchos cost almost that much. or, do you know where i can get them cheaper?

yes bro,you are correct about that!
bearing kit + syncro kit + gasket & seals,parts alone costed me $250.00 + Core $50.00 + labor $75 (my own labor). ppl simply wont pay over $150 for an used one.so why would i bother to get another core to rebuild it again.

I take it this has ZERO miles on it? Is there anything different about the 2 types of trannys (E/DE) like gear ratios and such?

There is no difference. They're all virtually the same. Only thing is you must use a throwout bearing of the correct year of the transmission.
