Timing Chain/Guides on SOHC KA
I did some searching and the only info I could find was on the KA24de and nothing on the KA24e, which is what I need some help with.
Are there any fixes for timing chain/guides rattle on the single cam? On the dual cam I know the upper guide can just be taken off but I am not sure what to do with mine. It may not even be the timing chain for sure. I here the rattle on start up for about 20-30 sec and then I can only hear it at about 2500-3500 RPM's when accelerating. Could it be something else besides the chain/guides? If its the chain, is there something I can do other than replacing it or the guides? Thanks guys

Hey buddy well I had an issue with my SOHC the timing chain was making a bunch of noise and I found out I was realy lucky. My guides were gone, but the chain never threw. Here is a link to my Timing chain RR. https://zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=109850
